If you have a problem with the Global Login, read this and try all possibilities applicable to you before you make a post about the Global Login.
I. Worked before, now it doesn't.
Have you registered an account AFTER JUNE 26TH, 2007?
Jistpoe reset the database containing all registered names with the release of build 19. If you could login before, and haven't been able to after, please verify you have RE-REGISTERED.
Is your password incorrect?
Passwords in game are stored as encrypted strings. If you updated your password or users name, be sure to COMPLETELY erase your password and re-enter it.
Be sure to choose an easy password for you to remember, since Jitspoe DOES NOT HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR PASSWORD, it is encrypted, and his only option is a last-resort reset. Please do not choose a password you will not remember, only to have Jitspoe to reset it.
Does your password look a lot longer than what it should be?
Those extra asterisks make no difference to you, they are only added for security, and will not affect your login, assuming your password is correct.
II. "I just KNOW it's a problem with the game"
Is it taking a long time to login?
With over 60,000* downloads, and nearly 20,000 global login registrars, the Global Login has been choking on the traffic, forcing Jitspoe to undergo a rewrite soon. In the mean time, please be patient as there have been reports of up to 3 minute wait times.
"I've entered everything correct, why doesn't it work?"
The user-interface - what you see - is very finicky about specific things. Be sure you're click 'login' on the page with your name and password, and not just hitting enter. Also: be sure your accounts when you go to the global login setup, you see your correct name and profile name.
Is your name long? Or is it short but you use a lot of FUNNAME junk or a clan tag?
Your name may be too long. Try using your regular name without funnames, especially if you have a clan tag.
I'll add more as I know of more problems/solutions

my password looks longer but its not the right thing but when i retype my password it wont let me then when i click on the username it has the longer pass again and it wont let me login with out that longer pass

You didn't read the post at all, did you?
Go to setup then to global login setup, then change your name and pass there. You have auto-save password on that's why it looks longer.

i cant login, it says the password is incorrect, but it's not...

First, make sure you're using build 19 (the latest version). Then completely delete the password from the input box. It might be really long since it gets encrypted. Make sure you've deleted all the *'s. Re-type the password correctly and log in. Also try logging into http://dplogin.com to make sure your password is correct.

Okay, I have made a www.dplogin.com account.
I have done every step in the post.
I have gotten the newest build, AND tried with build 19. (i have build 20 now)
I have been able to log in.
Everytime I join a game, it downloads it, then when I spawn it automatically kicks me saying I do not have a global account. Which I do.

First, It's Christmas eve so nobody is online now. Give it more than 10 minutes.
Second, are you using a clan tag, or using funnames?

I changed my funname to (X)Infinity(X) but the same thing happened, it seems I am allowed in some games, but when I try to enter big games I encounter the problem.
I find playing with 2 or 3 people kind of pointless, so I'm just going to wait till christmas is over to try again, hopefully by then it will work.

Set your name to exactly what you've registered. Also, go to http://dplogin.com/ and make sure your account exists.

Okay, I got the game today (latest build). I have already played for a while, but after quitting the game, then restarting it, I can't log in. I'll have everything right, (I've quadruple checked) and it will be stuck at the logging in part. Not for just 3 minutes, it just doesn't end.

It appears that the logon server is down. Just cancel out of loging in and click on PLAY.

my dp name is slick for paintball and ive had it for a long time but now it says that it is not accivated ive been on this oaccount for monthes

Did you change your email? If you change your email, it requires reactivation.

when i login in to an account it logs me into an account that doesnt work even tho i didnt click it. and when i try to play with other ppl it says u have been kicked then says check dplogin.com. what should i do?

I unistall my former version (19). Then i installed Build 23. Now when i go to login it says login failure check console. I check console it say see fourms for help. I use to be able to login and play. its not my password or my name cause they always worked before. Help please. the error i get is Cl_ProfileLogin_f(): Failed to resolve login server domain

Sounds like firewall or antivirus software is blocking Paintball2's Internet connection.

i tried to use a different e-mail then got this

i never got an activation at either e-mail account.

Ok you guys should have a walkthrough thing for people instead of these posts, condiering it be easier and help more. I totally messed up and I have no clue what to do. SO INSTEAD OF HELP I was you to tell me STEP BY STEP how to make and account, delete an account, and play paintball2 in your account. I dont want no "tell mw the problem" reply. I want step by step info. If I tell you the problem it will waist are time. SO PLEASE just tell me step by step, if you dont, I give up on this game and I rate this game 1/5 for customer support. Thanks.
P.S.: If you dont post step by step ill be very disapointed and quit this game.

well i think there is something up with login server because sometimes it wont let me login because i wait for about 5 min. and it stays at same thing. or its just being really slow

Use your account and only your account. Make sure your brother uses his account and only his account.

The user name and password you use for DP LOGIN is the same user name and password for the IN GAME global server login correct?
Either the global login system is down for now or something is going wrong on my end because i cannot connect in game.

thinked i have another theme but:
Im in the clan " [F0G] " and have a global account. But if i go in a server after login i will be kicked and dont know why. There is written: " Faking the clan [F0G] " but i am in ^^. Pls help me with that ******* problem

One style is working then my clan works but other style dont works :( only 1 but this one i dont want ....

Dont use so many colours and characters.
Using 200000 colors doesn't make your name look good, or make you a good player. Most good players have their name in default white.

So, my issue is...
I put in my credentials but when I press log-in it doesnt leave the "Connecting to Login Server" and on the command lines in the top left hand corner its says "NET_GETPACKET WSAECONNRESET 0.0.0.0.14220"

That usually means that you don't have an internet connection. Ensure that you're connected to the internet, and then try adding your credentials again.
If the problem persists, let us know and we'll try help you as much as possible. :)
EDIT: Lol, what am I saying? Obviously you have an internet connection if you're posting here. Silly me.. Anyway, check your firewall settings and make sure that Paintball 2 isn't blocked from accessing the internet. Sorry about that.

Unable to login after a couple attempts. I have deleted my password and re entered it and still not able to login. I was in yesterday for a few but not able to get in today. I have also deleted some of the files and reinstalled and still unable to get in. It just sits at the Connecting to Login Server.

Have you tried your, anti-virus to see if paintball is being blocked. So as of my understanding you join the game and it says Connecting to login server, but then nothing happens?

Anti Virus is turned off but has not had any changes to it anyways. I checked the forums and doesn't show that I am banned at least its not posted that is.

What message do you get? Can you log into your account? can you play on a server but then you get kicked in a couple of seconds? Can you provide a more detail of the situation at hand. We can help you if you provide stuff like: Screenshots. Message error codes. An much more detail description of the problem. Computer stats/computer specs(but wont need them now since we barely know much about your problem). Have you tried to completely reinstalling the game?

Just says connecting to login server and sits there. I have already uninstalled/reinstalled and still nothing. I have turned Anti-Virus software off. The program worked yesterday just fine but today won't connect.

Can be that login server is down for now, cancel it and carry on. In problem persists, you might want to check console for errors.

could be. GotMtDeW can you try to put Digital Paintball 2 on the "expection list"? Some thing similar happened with me, but it was for League of Legends, and I had to put LoL on the execption list. By the looks of your screen shot, I'm going to assume your on Windows 7. Go to the controll panel->find Windows firewall->go into its option->find a "execption list"(I believe it might have a different name to it but read the description)->add/check off Digital paintball 2. Before you do this though, turn of Windows Firewall(and anyother firewalls too) then try running it. If paintball does connect then do the above.
Can you put up a screen shot of your console when your trying to log in and press “~“ and while your trying to connect can you start up Task Manger and choose "network" it will show a network graph.
Also, assuming it might not work, can you also tell us if you can play the game(meaning can you still play without logging in? Online, not offline)

thanks its working. I had Zone Alarm off but turned it back on and it started working again. strange how things are. I haven't had it running the past 3 days but for some reason it wouldn't let the connection go through until I just opened Zone Alarm and then allowed the DP Application to access the Internet.
