We are looking for members who want to get involved in the DP match scene. We are willing to match anyone with the goal of learning in the process, though we realize we are not now at the level of the top clans. This is not like the other training clans as there is no sponsoring parent organization, nor do we claim any expertise. It is just a chance to match and have fun.
We are primarily an American clan, with most members on in the afternoon and evening. Please take this into account.

Requirements
- You must have an understanding of basic DP skills (aim, jumping, etc.) A try-out will in most cases be necessary.
- You must have a mic and be willing to download Ventrilo for voice communication while playing DP.

So far I have been doing at least two scrims every night, 2v2 and 3v3. So it is working just fine for what I want to do.

Protexe i hope your times work out so that you can join us in the future and if something changes perhaps we can be of use to you then. Good luck.
PS: We are not strictly turning down players if you are worried about not making it apply anyways. Worse case scenario you learn something about the game in the process.

Around what time are you guys usually playing? I live in Minnesota (central time). I'll be interested if the time works out.

Central time? Around 10 pm. But some of us may be on earlier. That is just when Rept and I tend to get on after work, etc.

I know game over is on alot early eastern. And like m7feettall was saying roughly 10-11 est. onward sometimes a lil late.
so basically central 9 or 10 till 2 or so in the morn on average.

Hey Rept, is this clan going to get trained for doing jump maps?

we play paint, jumps involved will be taught. In terms of maps such as dopjump and the likes, these are great training tools. Though we will not be applying them in as part of our training regiment. I do recommend they are atleast attempted on ones own time for practice or enjoyment but this is all.
Though exception will be made to teach someone a jump if a suitable map is unobtainable.

One match and two scrims today so far :)

Still getting in lots of scrims.
won two more tonight. Close one with Elite though, they whooped us on shock and had us beat on our own map but we came back in the last 30 seconds and then won the tie-break.

Basically scrims , matchs , or practice happening every night. And people seem to be learning so im happy with it so far.

Awesome and i think you know me....Rept. Also we scrimmed Game-over, Colonel, Venom2(or vicious or somethin) and nopyo. First match we played 3 vs 3 Me, Ride and Griffy(stand in) won. Then me and Colonel had a couple of friendlys. Also i heard you wanted me in your clan???Is it true?

Sempr, seems we saw you in the AND scrim, and you were in with Bleach's try-out. I didn't get a chance to talk to Rept about you because you left prematurely and we went on to other things.
I will check and see what he thinks.

Yesterday we had 5 scrims, including a loss to ij, a loss to starz/farmstars/GT (originating from a mix-up, but still a fun one though!, 7 on 7, went to the tie-break where they thoroughly whooped us) and beat AND.

We are no longer recruiting! We have had an influx of players and need to let them settle in before continued expansion. Our goal is training and we are busily doing that, while scrimming often. I am leaving the thread here for when we start up again and for general info.

I tried to scrim you yesterday and you banned me from your channel. So how about you unban me and we have a scrim.

Two people were banned yesterday. One was by rept, the other by me.
If I recall you wanted to scrim us 1 v. 4. I told you no. You insisted. I said no. I booted you. You came back. I said if you come back again you are banned. You came back and just asked to idle...I thought that was fine. Later Rept banned you. I don't recall why, but you can take that up with him. But you were already pushing it.
Also another was banned (I forget who was who at this point).
When we are discussing a scrim we don't need input from those who aren't involved to detract from our discussion.
In this case we were talking to IJ about some conditions for a scrim. That is not the usual practice, but we quit one other scrim with them due to them spamming obscene binds constantly. We were clarifying that this was not what we wanted.
We also asked that they not play propaint as they were going to whip us anyway and we might as well have a map where we stood some chance. This was admittedly a departure from the usual, which is why I asked them initially. They were quite willing to work with us. They set it up so that we played our map first. If we won they played propaint. If not we played a different one. They won both so it didn't matter, but we had a good scrim, and learned a few things. We appreciated their flexibility.

I tried to scrim you yesterday and you banned me from your channel. So how about you unban me and we have a scrim.
Your ban was given due to your continuation to spam the channel and make a request we had already mentioned was unacceptable based on the terms of match we requested and desired. Ill lift the ban for now, your welcome to the channel to idle and request games, though the ban will be easily replaced if repeated. Any questions reply or contact me on aim at your leisure.
In terms of the quote about us not looking for more members at this time is true, we have taken on a fair amount of players for now. Some exception is possible though in rare conditions. I look forward to the day we can welcome more players to our int family. Also any new clans who are looking for friendly games as a welcome to the scrim/match scene contact m7 or myself and we can setup something.

The newer members at that time are really coming along, and recruiting is now open again.

We had six scrims the last few days, so our activity level is picking up again.
We also graduated our first and best recruit so far, GameOver, who moved on to farmstarz. Congrats! I hope the new clan goes well.

I think you should be more on IRC though. Not only you. You must introduce your clan with it. Also, tell em to respond while someone asks em for a match/scrim even if it´s a pub.

i've already been recruited by [n.k] as you can see in my sig, but would it be possible if one day i could pop in to one of your practices?? i'd just like to see what kind of stuff y'all do.

Basically just normal scrims (2v2s & 3v3s) with voice recon. You might be welcome in to one of our training sessions (clan members vs clan members), idk that's up to m7.

no i don't mean train with him like on a regular basis. just to pay a visit.
besides, starz and ij aren't training clans per se. and they're way too good for me.
