Is there a script which would allow me to go into third person?

What exactly do you mean by third person? Do you mean while spectating or chasing someone? If so try chasing someone and then clicking the left mouse button to change the view.

I mean like chase yourself in 3rd person

The crosshair could just stay where it is. Or maybe move the camera over the shoulder. I love that view.
