Title: Game menu slowmotion???

OK i downloaded the game for the first time and have never played it, i have heard its HEAPS FUN. So i downloaded it and i open it but when i am in the menu it goes really slowly and the mouse doesn't move properly. Like a HUGE LAGG SPIKE??? I cant even get into the game cause its so slow.

I have tried updating my drivers what else should i do???

PLEASE HELP!!

U downloaded the new build 19 or an ond one with animated menu background?

I think your thining of one of my menus. The one with the flag. Didn't turn out right, and I removed it from the fileshare site.

Doom, what kind of computer do you have? (ie. video card, ram, cpu)

No, the old builds have an animated background. But it was very laaaggy.

I have recently download build19 and it still is laggy??  ummm i have 768MB RAM Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 1.50GHz   Caption   RADEON 9000U Family (Microsoft Corporation)

this game sounds fun

By any chance, do you hear the menu sounds eco? Just curious.

Have you tried reinstalling?

Try rolling back your video drivers. The latest drivers have screwed some people over.

Yep ive tried updating rolling back and reinstalling etc NOTHING WORKS :(

Type "cl_drawfps 1" at the console to see your framerate.  Also set cl_sleep to 0 if it isn't already.  Make sure programs in the background aren't hogging your cpu (ie: virus scanners).
