With the release of more and more high r_speed maps, I'm starting to wonder what the average computer playing DP is like... please vote honestly.

512MB-1GB RAM, 2.5GHZ, 64-128 MB Video, most of that was from my stock compaq presario i bought in 2000, the only thing i did was get the geforce 6600 to play some games with

Well since mine is a mixture of the above here is what I have:

2GB RAM, 2GHz, 256MB Video

I think there was a poll like this when you registered an account on the old PBCup site... Maybe XBain could dig up the stats?

That'd be cool, but I would like to see some up-to-date stuff, to see what most of the PCs playing PB are like today

Mine doesnt fit into one of the selections:

2.16 GHz Dual core Intel
2 Gig Ram
nVidia Geforce go 7400 64 Mb

Hmm, just go by the vid card I guess, seems to be the bottleneck.

I'm surprised at how "good" the PCs are so far....  no votes for the lowest two.

I always lag on large maps (pb_shreds, tlc) no matter which server I'm on, will increasing RAM help? Right now, I have 256MB of RAM. Thanks.

Mine= 758mb of ram, 2.6GHz celeron, and 256mb ATi Radeon 9250

My parents'= 256mb of ram, 3GHz celeron, 64mb integrated <- :o

Increase RAM and pick up a new video card would be my guess to less lag for you.

I'm guessing Sharon and Picasso haven't voted yet. :)

I've actually thought it would be kind of interesting to have some kind of survey thing straight from the game kind of like Steam has to help get more accurate results.

I was going to suggest that but I thought maybe I was the only one interested in these statistics.
