I want to update a map by replacing all of the pball/brick1_1 textures with ctp1/bricks_m_1, I tried using the replace textures dialog, but it did nothing, how can I go about doing this automatically?
-
You could do select all brushes with texture and then just change it manually.

So there is no way to automate the process :-\
-
Well, I dont even remember there being a replace texture dialog :)
-
Oh nevermind, it did it.. wow, it just doesn't update the viewport in BSP with the new textures.
-
Open the .map file in a text editor and do a find-and-replace.
-
The Replace texture in BSP works just fine, it just doesn't update the preview.

I realized that too. I was changing the wall textures in my Abandon map to ones in the CTP.

I fixed it last night. You guys are slow.

So it's all 'sorted' out? :D
-
Talk about a pun, of sorts.
-
You might even say 'quick sorted'

What cobo of fix was this?
... Duh!

Cobo ruins everything. :(
