Title: What user does the cron.daily stuff run under?

I realized that if I try to run my backup script under a different user, the authentication fails because the RSA keys are different.  Does this stuff run at root or what?  Can I specify which user to use?

doesn't each user has his own cronjobs?  there's some place where you can change that, but I don't remember :P
