I was playing on my server the other day and i saw one name <=X=>NONAME.  Then later on the same name popped up and he had the same I.P address.  I also noticed that every now and then one of them would go obs and then come back into the game.  Here are some pics of it.

And how exactly did this person hack or cheat?

Probably just 2 instances of him.

Well it is possible to open multiple instances of the game at once, so this is not a hack or cheat, so somebody can delete this topic.

this might not have anything to do with it, but it might.
ive been on that map before, the only way to get more paintballs is to die, or to go obs then to a team. (it isnt a normal paintball map, its not for shooting, its more like an obstacle course, theres still use for the paintballs though(antigrav+shooting=ftw  :P)

Summary:
2 IPs = 2 instances
switching to obs = to get more paintballs

no hacks/cheats

Were they actually in the game twice, or did the console just say they 'connected' (as opposed to 'entered') twice?

From that screenshot of the console this is what I think. I think this person connected to the server i.e. connection number 1. Disconnected from the server before entering the game, possibly typed quit or something similar. Then they reconnected and then entered the game.

So with that said can we delete this thread now.?
