Jits has talked about making better, more realistic textures. I found a site that has many texture packs for sale, each with over 100 textures. There is a preview for each pack, and each pack also includes bump maps for the texture, in case jits implements that in the near future. Unfortunatly, each pack of about 120 is $60... it really depends what you guys think, and how much jits has in the donation vault.

The problem with those is that they wouldn't be able to be released under the GPL. I'd kind of like to be able to make Paintball2 completely under the GPL at some point.
