More linux problems *sigh* Im on my new comp I built but for some reason I get an error when trying to extract it says that tons of things cant be found when I look and theyre there.
(Sorry for bad grammar my keyboard configuration is screwed and I cant use all the keys)
-
That is just a bug in Ark. It should still work fine.
-
Gaah I clicked continue and now I get an error that says they already exist so they wont be extracted so then I go continue but it says it couldnt extract because they already exist.
-
.....
Like I said, it's a bug in Ark, the files that appeared should still work fine.
-
I get an error when trying to open the paintball folder now that its extracted it says: The file appears to be of type inode/directory, which is not a supported archive format. In order to rocede choose the format of the file what do I choose?
-
Now that sounds a bit intercoursed up. Get on IRC.
-
Cant Konversation doesnt work.
-
Orly?
Delete all the extracted files. Extract again, to /home/apocalypse or wherever your home folder is. Ignore the error. Open a Konsole window and type:
cd ~
cd paintball2
./paintball2
-
on kubuntu
There's your problem.
-
Cobo, stop the hate.
-
Ok I can enter the folder but the .exe isnt starting up paintball like it should.
-
Exe?
You sure you got the linux version?
And, you have to start it from the console, like I said in my 2nd last post. Unless you really want to learn stuff, you should probably just use windows, it's less compilcated :P
-
Its a gear and it says the type is executable file.

Its a gear and it says the type is executable file.
But the linux version doesn't have an extension (no ".exe"). Make sure you got the correct one on the files page.
-
Its the right one and I've got it working now so I'm going to lock the topic.
