Whoever this daze kid is, who probably has multi accounts, spoofing Supermans name, and then navyseal, spoofing dystros name, you said you'd do something about it before, nothing has been done.

TooN's been using all of the 3iob members names, somehow.  Isn't this bannable?  I have screenshots and demos, but just wondering before I waste my time getting a poor 12 year old kid banned from his favorite game.

I just got my 22" widescreen monitor, and all my videos that I try to watch on google video and whatnot look horrible.  Is there a program or something to help with video quality?  I know Nvidia has something, but I think it costs $$$$

Cheater Reports and Bans / Dp Committee

Might wanna do a check on Brigade, and Monst3r.  Pretty much positive they're the same person. 

Brigade came into the server and then quickly changed his name to MONST3R, and then said he was in some .Mu^ clan or something, then Natural asked if he was Kevin and he said yeah.  Dual accounts for the loss.

Run a check.

Help and Support / Clear Bunkers / Window Help.

Alright, I was playing Blitz today, and I can't tell the different between the clear walls themselves and the windows in them, they're both really clear, is there any way I can make the bunkers themselves less clear than the windows?


Like, this is hellhounds game.

So, to start off, if you have nothing nice to add to this, don't bother posting.

About 4 days ago, DaRkNeSS, Br55HiT and I thought it would be a good idea to make a channel on mIRC for players to access for their file needs.  We currently have 3 bots in the channel that are on almost 24/7 (atleast 1 of them) and you can msg one of the 3 bots to DCC you any file in dp, from huds to maps, instead of going on your web browser and typing in a website.  The commands are as follows.

!find <file here>  (Meaning the file could be a map, ex: !find shazam22 or a texture, ex: !find hr4)

!files (This will show you the command to view all the files the bot(s) have)

!hosts (This will show you what bots are currently up and available to send files)

Jitspoe, if you would like to help scripting or if you would have anything you'd like to add.  Please come to #dp-files on globalgamers.

EDIT:  Also, make sure you have your DCC ignore off.  Which can be turned off by going here on your mirc.

Tools > Options > DCC (then there's a dropdown when you doubleclick DCC) > Ignore and at the top make sure in the dropdown it says Disabled, and on the bottom of that same window, make sure the box that says *Turn ignore back on in 3 minutes* is unchecked.

I used to get a ping of about..say. 70-75 on the GT servers. Now I get about. 90-110 ping.  What the hell happened?

Okay, since I got like 30 pm's how to do this.  Thought i'd explain it for all of you that don't know it.  (If there's an easier way tell me)

1. Open up digital paintball 2.

2. Hit the Console button ` or ~.

3. Type menu_setup funname in the console if you want to create a funname that you'd like to bind.  Or, just type name in console followed by the name you'd like.

Now after you've made your name exit the menu_setup funname or whatever you're in, and type name in console, it should show up with the name you just made for yourself.

4. Seeing that you're still in the console type.

alias wordorletterhere name $name

EX: If I had 2 names and wanted to switch between them very quickly I would do this.

Make my name JiGSaW.

Then type in the console

alias jigsaw name $name

Then everytime i'd type jigsaw in the console my name would change to JiGSaW.

Simple.  Right?

Could everyone please help me out with all of the Fps commands to make my fps run better and make my game more smooth so I don't lag as bad.  30-50 fps average isn't the best for me right now until I get my computer back.

I already know:

r_reflectivewater 0
r_caustics 0
gl_stainmaps 0
cl_drawfps 1
cl_drawpps 1
cl_sleep 0
cl_locknetfps 0
cl_maxfps 0
cl_cmdrate 80
r_oldmodels 1
vid_restart.

Don't tell me to get a new video card and whatnot because mine are in my other computer which is having motherboard issues so i'm on a stock dell till then.

Ok, ever since my alienware fried i've been having to play on this garbage dell.  With terrible fps, so I searched and found this program for raising fps.  It's a thing you do to your monitor.

Download it, run it, then when you get done restart your computer and see if it helped.  It raised my fps from a constant 30-40 to 85.  It's not exactly the 1000 fps I got with my old comp, but it's a hell of alot better.


Better get good karma for this.

Other Stuff / Computer help please

Alright, I have a little story here.  I have a pretty badass gaming computer right.  Well over the past month or so, it's been acting up, my hard drive would start clicking then it'd freeze up.  Then, it would get maybe...20 seconds into it after I'd turn it on, then shut down, just crap out on me, not go through the normal shutting down process.  Now, I just bought a new power supply and I just stuck it in my computer, it boots up for about 10 seconds still.  Then shuts down.  Anyone know what could be causing the problem?


Much help would be very appreciated.
