has anyone tried running dpball off a usb drive? say a 1gb or bigger usb drive.

could that be done on a modified cfg file? instead of loading from c:\dpball, run it off x:\dpball

i think that might come in handy if possible if you travel a lot or use different computers.

also, can you connect the game behind a proxy server?

just limit the # of times someone can spam/flood the game chat... especially those who binds a key for some stupid comments... and then just floods the chat in game.

is it possible to put a 3 line limit and if they repeat the same thing for a 3rd time then they wait for 1 min before they can say something again?

I haven't decided if I like the new sounds or not... though, I think I might be more happy with the old one.

I'm curious, why is there the "Username" and "Name" option when you can't change the name option. I've seen forums where you can change the forum name. Is that possible to change the "Name" so that it's different from "Username"?

I dont think this person is logged in cause I couldn't get the player ID... but he was definitely speedhacking on Loial's server. it was at about 11:57PM EST

just wanted to throw this suggestion out there. i remember playing one q2 mod that had this feature (may have been a CTF mod) but the game had this timer for camper that when it detects the player staying in a spot for too long, it sends a message and i believe killed them.

is it possible to add a similar feature in the future? implement a timer for a player is camping and even put a radius on the player where if he is within x distance it's still considered camping. it was effective on that mod, got people moving rather just camp.

i have some maps where it's missing textures so when playing i get these grey boxes rather then a stone wall if that's the case... where do i download missing textures??
