Yet he gets a 2 month ban for hacking in matches for 2 months. Also, his wallhack is clearly undetectable since Jitspoe did not point out a certain hack or modded content.Yeah bix you are right, but at least they are trying ya know?
Yet there are so many more still using it...
To be fully honest I am not convinced Jitspoe can even detect modded maps, or atleast all people using modded maps. Reason I say this is because there is a lot more than Iced using modded maps and he is only one banned for 'random' detection without being reported.

I think this is actually detectable). Therefore it is pointless to report people. We have already seen that ratbots are not viable in most cases.
This will enable the comitte to find and bring down distributers of hacks even faster. If this sounds like a bad idea to you then there is something wrong with you.

9.5 I am a very active player and i know around 90% of the active players in this game.
On a scale from 1 to 10, how well do you know players from the matching scene? 1 being you don't match. 10 being you are heavily involved in a clan and know members of every other clan very well.
I would probably say a 10. I am an active member of the matching scene.
On a scale from 1 to 10, how well do you know the IRC community. 1 being you don't use IRC. 10 being you idle in most of the channels and know everybody but "DP Surfer" (but can usually identify him within a couple lines of text or by his hostmask unless he's legitimately a new player).

If you are presented with a case where it appears somebody has violated the rules, but you can't find enough evidence to prove it 100%, would you vote to punish him or not?
If i know that the player has a reputation and there is a good amount of evidence. then yes i would.

absolutely, If a player hacks that player deserves to be banned.
Are you prepared to take the crap the community may throw at you, if they don't agree with a decision, and behave in a mature and professional manner?
I am prepared. I take a lot of crap from the community now. :]
Why do you feel you would be a good member of the committee?
I feel that if i was on the committee I would try and contribute to this community. I want to better this game and clean it up. I would do my best to actively contribute to this game and its players. I really just want to help the game that i love.

Atmays, i have no problems with you and i personally believe that you don't hack, and i know that you would never rat out your friends and that you have to stand up for them. The primary reason for the grace period is not to save or give hackers a break, but to attempt at keeping this game alive. I am sorry that you don't support somebody trying to clean up this game.

People dont say we hack now. Only you and your buddys. Matterfact, s8n wasn't even playing much when we started uR. Get your facts straight.
K back on subject. I agree with bix and s8n No grace period for hackers. How can banning hackers hurt this game anymore then what it has already done. Clan scene might lose a few people but clans wont die. I know uR wont.
I love that you are in this thread atmays. I know that you want to protect your friends but your going at it in the wrong way. you should be thanking cuso for the grace period. it probably saved your whole team. i would never want to join your team. it is discraceful when your whole team is kicked from er33t servers for one of your members being offensive to a server admin. isn't it a shame that the grace period didn't happen a little earlier. maybe homing wouldn't be banned right now. :/

I believe what he is trying to say is --> If we are going to give cheaters free 2nd chances and if cheaters are vital to the survival of this game...let the game die.
