how about ISP added to the list too, cause just because you have the best gaming machine doesnt mean you can play the online games without lag.

Ill go first
Road Runner: Turbo package 8mbps, but i get 13mbps download so their cap didnt really work or they goofed on a number

Just empty 10 meg maps! YEA that would be sweet

Why would you want to jump on the ps3 or xbox. It would be cool playing paintball on a big screen tv instead of hooking a computer up to the tv. But you would need a singleplayer made cause kinda stupid to make a game just multiplayer for consoles, cause alot off ppl cant play online.

LOL. we should add power supply to the list. Mine was a 420watt but it recently got fried so i was stuck with a 250watt and couldnt use my video card. So i was using my geforce 4. my new psu is coming tomorrow hopefully that doesnt fry my mobo or anything.

Well i have it set to timed login because auto-login doesnt work with the pam-keyring or something but i have to enter a password. I just want to be able to chuck the box in my basement without a monitor and hit the power button, and do everything over ssh and vnc.

EDITED
I found something called WICD, i got it installed and giving it a shot. it replaces the network manager and saids it connects on boot and stuff.

EDITED again
WICD did the trick i got auto-login and it remebers the password for the wirelesss.

Ok i setup libpam-keyring so i dont have to type the keyring password in, but not when i login a dialog box pops-up and wants me to type my password in. Is there a script i could use that could auto enter the password, or have it connect to the wireless AP on boot instead of having to login
