Dude a) you have 65 processes going try closing some of those out.  b) If you have wireless connection like I do, disable Windows Zero Configuration.  It refreshes your wireless card to search for new networks every minute or so which does no good if you're on a desktop.  http://paininthetech.com/2005/10/25/disable-wireless-zero-configuration-in-windows-xp guide on how to disable it.

Problem solved.  Downloaded rivatuner and changed my fan speeds for my heatsink as well as my graphics card.  Graphics card was running hot which was causing my computer to just shut down.  Stock fan speed was only set to 25%.   Rivatuner great program. Graphics card was at 53 C when computer was idle.  Would shoot up to 70 C when gaming.  Idles now at 41 C and goes up to 47 C when gaming.

So I have identified it as the CPU overheating.  Have to run it with the side of the case off for enough air to get in too keep it cool.  Even though I have 3 120mm fans blowing in on it.  I don't think the problem is the air flow because they are all set to high I know it's getting good airflow and there is good ventilation.  I'm thinking that there isn't a good bond of thermal grease from the heat sink to CPU.  It was the preapplied pad.  Heat sink fan is running fine too.  Was just wondering if I was right on the diagnosis of the problem.  Feedback will be appreciated.

Every time I start to play DP for a bit my computer will act like it's overheating and just shut itself down.  I really don't think it's overheating though because I am able to run call of duty 4 on it fine, which is way more strain on my computer then DP is.  Also my computer has 3 120mm fans in it and good ventilation so which also makes me believe it's not overheating.  Any help would be appreciated.

Neither one of you actually understood what I was talking about.  DT understood on the money exactly what I referring to.  Pretty much once you are IN THE BASE there is a very limited choice on how to get the first flag.  You can go left or you can go right basically.  I was saying that possibly a back path to the 1st flag would make things more interesting, or maybe a few more paths that lead out to in base.

The pbcup series of maps are some of the best match maps that are in the game.  I was hoping zpar11 would keep this trend of game play and difficulty.  However the only problem i have with this map is the singular route to 1st flag.  pforest has ways around this singularity.  Pbcup_renior has multiple paths to both flags.  Zpar11 doesn't compete with these maps in my mind.  If it wasn't so one way to both flags then this would also be an excellent match map like the others because of its size and complexity.  The trick jumps don't bother me one bit it's what makes this game more challenging to some of the more seasoned players.  Which is why when DT makes a map it is usually some of the best quality maps that this game holds for matching.  If there were more routes to the 1st flag then possibly this map would live up to some of your better maps.  Just my 2 cents.

Only thing on the hard drive that I was even wanting to save was my music.  After reading all that though I think a fresh install would be easier.  Every part came in today except for the case.  They all look so nice sitting there without a home..........

If you take the hard drive from your old computer and put it in the new computer it will not work, unless the chipset of the 2 motherboards are exactly the same. I am not talking CPU but the actual chipset on teh motherboard.

Should I uninstall the motherboard drivers before I put it in the new computer?

Other Stuff / Question on a New Computer Build

So I'm in the process of doing my first computer build.  I have a pretty decent knowledge of computers.  My question is I ordered everything to build except a new hard drive because the one i have is still fairly new nothing wrong with it.  I want to just transfer this one to the new computer that way I can keep everything I have on this one.  Will this cause a BIOS error because of the new motherboard?  Will it be able to boot correctly or do I need to do something so that the new hardware will recognize everything?  Like I said this would be my first build from scratch, and I invested a good sum of money into it.  I would like to see it be put to good use.  All help/answers would be greatly appreciated.
