its ok by my standards, but the jumps are a tad awkward, for instance, you have to approach the two ramps leading to the top oddly, and the blocks at both ends stop jumpers quickly, very quickly x.x i cant comment on the textrures and whatnot, im not picky :P

yeah, i got a tad carried away releasing the map, i was hoping it could be a pong map being that pong maps can be simple, and i knew the map was nothing to make its own topic over, i knew it stunk, thats why i converted it to pong (XD), oh well, better luck next time i guess :/ (or in a more likely case, 20 times after that)

*shrugs* theres thousands of ways we could make this map, i was just showing how i thought it could look without overdoing r_speeds or pretty much overwork the engine, theres much better versions out there, i just thought i'd like to show mine  :)

hes saying that the ctf mode would be the pro version, while 1-flag is ctf with co2, so the flags and bases are set to gamemode 24, while the co2 is only set to 2

btw, the two bases are different versions that i figured that could be used in the map, i just figured i'd put it in anyway, but thats basicly how i invision the map.
there is also supposed to be exits leading out to the bridge, and a few barriers here and there, the branches are supposed to be hollow, and can contain snipers, theres also a path from the top to the sniper branches that you could jump off of to the other side, but the topped version doesnt include this, and you might be able to squeeze in a story or two.

Spawn in a box was created for testing purposes only.  It should not be put on a server, period.

Why take out the hidden room? Its fun to find, and can be a good place to camp with flag.
when even bots can find it, it kind of destroys the perpose  :-\, and secret rooms that go somewhere special makes it more fun, like the secret on midnight, or the mistake on brainstorm :3

world spawn, check.... teamnumbers, check..... i have gamemode 0 assigned to both the bases, and gamemode 4 assigned to both flag entities, gamemode 2 and team 0 assigned to the neutral flag, but i do have a crapload o spawns for both teams if that would mess anything up, i could send the .map file if that would help any.
EDIT: got ri of the base glitch, it was jsut a mistake i made :/

Only problem with colored guns is they may cause confusion with players and give the team color matching the gun color an advantage.  For example if you're running by and catch a glimpse of blue movement out of the corner of your eye and stop to investigate, but it just turns out to be a colored gun rotating, it would be kind of annoying.
jits has got a point (of course xD) but it would be nice if some of the guns looked a bit more different from each other,i rarely know what im picking up unless its an autococker or a mag  :-\

hmm, sounds like part of a level in a kirby game, you would have to abandon the idea of leaves and crap, would make r_speeds pretty high, maybe even have some branches go to another branch of another tree (like you said, could make both the trees bases), could be compatable with ctf, 1-flag and dm, sounds pretty good to me actually :)

i decided to try to make my first map today, it worked out except for a few things, the bases and flags were missing o.O and in ctf and one-flag, the enemies are invincable, but not in koth o.o.
 i used final compile (high guality), whats wrong?   :-\

Server Discussion / server newb

I know this is a nooby question, but are servers free?
Half the time i hear that it's free, then other times, they say something about paying (and something about bandwith fees o.o?). I just want a server that me and two friends (maybe some strangers too, but i'd still like to be able shut down server) that definately isn permanate, and i dont know anything about ports, please help?

Carbine hate the automag balls slant down like crazy hate shooting at people even from medium range just doesn't work carbine on the other hand a bit slower 10x more accurate easy to shoot on target medium range and fairly good at long range looks a hell of a lot better than the automag.
So overall carbine is far > automag.
Please, do us all a favor and use a little thing called a comma. -.-

Guns have weight in dp? I thought the accuracy, ball speed, and balls per second were the only differences.  *shrugs* what else is there? :P (seriously, im curious now :P)
