Also... you claim you hacked for fun... "I hacked for fun" "I hacked to quit the game" "I hacked just once to try it" "I hacked to see if my pubes would grow" none of these matter, hacking is hacking and you got a lower bantime considering you distributed (no matter to how many people or why) and even got it lowered, if I'm not mistaken.

Have you ever heard Idias_ or chalk for example say "Yo man I got some hacks here for ya, use them we gonna ruin this game lOLO"?

Having 1024 days for a 2nd offense, the first one being a sharing account ban is fair? I doubt that. I'm not sure but "he" admitted to it and didn't actually get detected, that counts.
I know only a few had the intent because I witnessed the whole thing. So you distributed to RiDe so you'd do it together? Hows that any different from what the distributors did? Only 2 guys distributed, one of them isn't even banned for it, and you're telling me it's fair to have 1024 days?
Hacking was a terrible decision? Yes. Doesn't mean all of them wanted to kill the game.
Are you serious man? You haven't been on vent with Idias_ in ages, mainly because he doesn't have vent, he's been using TeamSpeak 3, a private one with the rest of the hackrew for the past times. Nice try

@Rick: Not necessarily lawl. Of the whole bunch only a few had that intent. For example, Idias_ merely used the hacks, as you did, and you distributed if I'm not wrong, Idias_ did not, Idias_ did not attempt to kill the game, yet, Idias_ has the same bantime as you did

@Flamer: Don't be ridiculous. Riddick hacked his ass off.
@Want2be/abnormal: Clearing the ban list would be retarded... Most of the people that have hacked came back and hacked some more. But some bantimes are clearly unfair
@Ricochet: That isn't always true, look at the current hackoff situation... Most of those guys have unfair bantimes
@Want2be -- again: Committee is only to deal with the hacking situations so that jitspoe doesn't take all the decisions alone, and the community has some sort of representation, and the commiittee also does a bit of "croud-control" whenever issues rise up, jitspoe is the one that needs to waste an hour of his life banning people every day instead of putting time torwards the game.

Agreed 100%. You might not have seen me because I rarely play under DaglessMD, but by the same token I've never seen you Bix. You seem to be fundamentally misunderstanding the fact that endlessly announcing that your argument is not meant to offend and isn't a personal attack doesn't make it true.

What a ridiculous statement. What discussions on this forum tick those boxes? I'm sure in your head, mewa's and your own threads about forum moderation lately do, but they are the point of contention. What else? criticism in the mapping forum? That is a required part of the tacitly peer-reviewed map development in this community, and the only ones who offend or are offended are the immature contributors who can't bring themselves to contribute or take valid criticism constructively. Any more? Cheaters and Bans discussion? Just a load of unfettered not-so-righteous indignation posts and idle speculation or proclaimations of dissapointment/anger. Again, where is the co-existence of offensiveness AND constructiveness?

In the interests of a positive community spirit, no-one should have to be offended when they come to be part of it.

And mewa, this game is not 'public'. It happens to be freely distributed, but the financial and opportunity cost of development is paid by people like Knack, jitspoe, server owners, etc... You, nor anyone else has an intrinsic human right to dictate anything about this game or community, it is through the generosity of jitspoe that you even have things like the feature vote to help him prioritise development to please the most number of people. You and I are here but by the grace of those who spend their time to build and maintain this mod and community, the very least you can do is give them some support.

I agree with the new OTB speed server making...i mean... u tell Ur friends or clanmates to meet there and suddenly its full and no clan game for anyone...it has happened to me...but in other hand It will probably be full as the other one theres millions of players in there and its not another server with 30 players max limit thats gonna stop them from filling the server...

why lock the thread? forums are made for people opinions negative or positive. that way we can get to know the attitude of the people that play in dp.

I tottaly agree except in the gossip channel part... but yes if moderators keep lockin threaths then this wouldnt be a forum where ppl express their ideias...that way ppl could only say what moderators wanted them to say

well not all siege maps are crap...like siege castle i kinda like siege castle and u have to admit this map is rlly good ...
in one of the screenshots i dont like the parking lot ideia it has too much space if it had like some cars in the middle it would be better believe me...but still its a map i would do some tourneys with my friends...congrats!

Moderating the forums isn't a reward or priviledge for helping out the game or clans that play it, it's a job in itself.
 So, he chooses to help out by moderating the forums and website.

But i do agree with viciouz... i mean everyone does makes mistakes...

hi all i dont come here lots of times...im a friend of idias and he told me the thing...for what ive read in the past comments ...actually i never met knack  at all...im nowone to talk about this situation...so im just gonna do what im suposed to do in this forum...i think...as far as ive seen..that knack isnt rlly up to the job of bein global moderator..i know that maybe i dont have right reasons as i said im just judgin by what i saw till now.
