LOL but still what? Its a message from the console that comes up during the game just the same as when someone presses T or Y. Come and see if you're still unsure   ;)

Problem sorted. I introduced a cron job that puts up  regular messages, one of which says:

Console: Please don't keep changing to the winning team or you'll be banned

I haven't had to ban anyone yet  ;D

Hi all, my home server is getting too busy so I'm look at renting a VPS. What sort of monthly bandwidth (useage in Gb) would I be looking at for a moderately busy 16 player public server?

Thanks for that, I modified it to run from a Cron job and it works well.

its really great when some newbies joining the winnerteam, you should just join the losing team and get some easy kills :P I really prefer to play in a short-handed team on pub :)

dont argue with them - just do the right thing and YOU change to their old team

You know what? You're both right. Silly me for getting so wound up - it's only a game FFS.

Newbies allways do it ... why? because, they want to play with better players, and wins (Often newbies comes to my team :D )

Haha well good luck to you and your gang of newby sycophants, I hope you'll be very happy together ;).

Seriously, does it really not get your goat when they do it? Don't you think it ruins the game? I'm pretty cool about most things but I get really pissed off.

btw I like when many people switch to the winning team, because I can switch to the losing one and play against more players :P - It's more fun.

LOL is that why you're called abnormal?

Actually you have a point, I do that too.

The players just need a better attitude. I join a game, say as red, both teams have the same amount of players and red is winning 20 to 3, I purposely switch to blue, the losing team! I like to try to balance it and take the challenge. I really don't know what you can do to fix this except keep banning.

That's the attitude we need, you're welcome on my server any time  ;D

I'm not sure that entirely fixes it, what about the situation when the losing side outnumber the winniing side? I think it should be based on score, you should only be allowed change to the losing team.

Why do people do it? I've kicked and temporary banned several players today for doing it, it's really pissing me off.

I'm going to password protect the join command and make the password available on the server webpage along with an explanation as to why I've done it. I hate doing that but it ruins the game.

Can`t connect to the server: skins.pcx download - endless loop

Hmmmm, that's odd I haven't heard of anyone else having that problem. I've upgraded to build 26 today, maybe that'll fix it?

I find the words composing your Internet pseudonym to be offensive.

Well, I guess you can find just about anything offensive if you try hard enough...

From Urban dictionary:

iron :  homosexual - from rhyming slang (iron hoof/poof)
fist :  to insert ones fist into another individuals ****** or ****

iAnd besides, there's already a feature vote for server settings to keep equal teams.
Having thought about it, I think only allowing players to change to the losing team is better. I've been in some really good games with 1 expert player v me and several other noobs.

What really gets my goat is the lamers that always change to the winning team (most of the ones I've seen are from one particular nationality). How about a server side setting to only allow players to change to the losing team?

I watched one game where it ended up with 4 players v 1 Acebot, I really wanted that bot to win  ;D
