I don't see all that much point in the sort of intro movie your describing. It's showing you what your gonna play soon...

The other sort of intro movie, which is used in many games, is background information for the storyline that's happening, and DP doesn't have a storyline and campaign yet (I doubt it will ever get one) so that's not needed either.

I know that it's probably allowed but not encouraged to use hacks on private servers, but I'm just pointing the downsides of it. It's just a good idea to stay away from hacks altogether.

I'd go for C.
After 'hacking' on the 'private server', you might be tempted to play with hacks later on. That and if you play several times with hacks on the private server, you could well get used to playing with hacks.

And hacks don't make you better at Paintball. On the contrary they'll only make it easier (since you go at the speed of light and can see through walls) and worsen your playing style.

Well, I'm sure we all trust and respect the current (but still not confirmed) list of judges. We all know they'll be fair to everyone. (Hopefully lol)

True pretty much all the judges are reliable. The judging panel has been chosen wisely  :)

We could make a rule about if you get caught trying to get a judged to give you a better rating than others to be disqualified and maybe temporary not allowed to enter the next contest or something.

But how would you find out? The only way I could think is a trend in their voting, but then you still don't know for sure whether they're voting on what they really think of the map or cheating.

I didn't design this to any 9vs9 pub play, small games like 3vs3. At the beginning i was going to design low route, but as you can see i didn't really do anything like that. But now i could add new route going low, maybe making it dsm route. Maybe make it open when there's over 6 people?

I think given the current situation 5 people a team would start to cause congestion... 9 would be chaos. I agree with you that 3 would be good.
Maybe you could make another map like this one, with a few different routes and the whole map generally bigger. Call it something like 'Greater Shadow' and make it 7 a team.

Alot of times for me this site won't upload my screenshots. If it won't upload for you I've found www.tinypic.com to be very useful, you simply browse and find the screenshot, then copy the 2nd link it gives you and paste it here.

I've found that whenever I upload images (not necessarily map shots) to this site I have to wait about 30 second or more for each picture. I then just leave the tab open and wait.

Looking at the Counter Strike one and the chosen Dp2 banner, the biggest difference seems to be the images chosen for the background.
In the counterstrike one, it's showing off the detail of the game and it's textures(From MY pov ofcourse). Whereas, in the dp2 one, it's just showing a player model on a background that has nothing to do with this game. Personally, I think that a new banner should be chosen that doesn't just look good, but actually shows off the game the banner is advertising.

The background colour isn't unique to Paintball... Any game can have it. It should have DP scenes rather than random colours.
