In small it looks ok, but on great walls it looks horrible in my opinion...
Can't really explain, but here is a comparison with the rocks16_2 texture from ascras hr4. For me, it looks much better.

Hey,

i thought about doing a new Fragmovie for DP2 and I'm searching for some nice frags.
If you want to be featured in my next video just pm me with a link for your demo.
Please rename the demos to "yourname_map_time"
You can send me as many demos as you want.

Idea of the Video: Last time I published a video everybody cried that it were too overedited and you can't see the shots.
So I decided to do one "Frag Show"-Video with unedited clips and one "Frag Movie"-Videowith edited clips.
The frags for the both videos would be the same, so if anyone can't see the frag in my edit he can watch the frag show video and can see it crystal clear.

Server Discussion / Spawnfixes!

Hey,

I made some .ent-files for those maps:
- antioch
- cya
- overrun
- jinious_b2

The files don't affect the gameplay, they are just fixing wrong spawns and player-angles.

If you know any other maps with spawnfails, let me know and i'll fix them, too.
@Server-Admins: Please load the file on your servers.

You should extend the mid area.


Red: Change the texture to the ground/dirt texture.
And you should use the ice texture, instead of the glas texture.


Green: Change the texture to gras.
Red: Extend the brush.




Green: Change the texture to gras, again.
Red: Extend the brush, again.


Delete this. This is needless :)


This area looks really empty, add a barrel or something.


Add sth like a ramp here.

The windows should be deeper.

I think one big problem are the overplayed maps. In my opinion maps like shazam or wobluda become boring, after playing it for maybe 3 years or more.
There are alot of nearly unplayed or forgotten maps for public server, but also for the matching scene.
When we pick a unknown map in matches, our enemies says always that this isn't fair. Yes, it isnt easy to play on a map you never saw, but if we continue to play the standart maps, we'll still play them in 20 years.
I know that all overplayed maps are awesome, but there are so many other good maps.
I really enjoy playing on the new QeHs Server, they have 3 popular and 3 unknown maps in their rotation. If we could do something similar to this on every single public server, people could have more fun.
