Wow it has been quite a few years since I played here. Stumbled on the site looking at vintage paintball markers and tried logging in ... Hope there is a good crowd still playing can't wait to see what changes have happened in last 10+ years.

Think of the few high res style paintball games that have come and gone since this one has started .. including greg hastings paintball series ... not everyone can afford the high end rigs so this game will keep going even if it seems outdated as long as anyone can play.

1. Pros have to step back  a little on PubĀ“s against Newbies because its realy no fun to get dominated ALL the time. (jitspoe is right )

2. Older Players should show more respect against Newbies and help them.

This is funny as it is also what is killing off real paintball as well.
The graphics is the main issue with new people since most games now have so much eye candy to offer. Also what is the compatability with Windows 7 and 8? When XP is dumped so will 7 be in favor of only windows 8.
Adding better A.I. for offline play, less maps as stated many times before, solo play tutorial maps against either A.I. or one on one match with someone who will train and not trash new players.
If you need revenue to help improve the game future upgrades, have pay servers, nothing extreme but like $4 to $10 to join. Would keep a few from "hacking" as banning would cancel conract and would have to buy in again to play. Play offline or basic public servers free and pay to go to the rest.
The list could go on and on forever with pros and cons from people with different tastes and styles for online gameplay.

Just found this, went to supposed creators website and saw nothing of it there, awaiting a reply email from them if they have it. Not enough information of how it works on the download site to have any shame as of yet.

converting .exe to .apk is not a simple task it pretty much needs to be fully rewritten code from scratch. If someone out there can make a format converter program it would be great but until then its as possible as NASCAR switching to diesel.

He can use computers, but internet if allowed would be monitored daily by installed software he was not allowed to tamper with. I knew someone I worked for who was busted for child porn pictures on his computer and he actually got it back wiped and pre installed with tracking software. He only served 48 hours in jail also and now works at a better job than I do. Was also told if he tampered with it they would know and he would serve the full intended sentence in prison.
Sadly here in the US though, it is easier for an illegal alien to STAY and NOT get deported, for convicts and rapists, and child molesters to get employment over hard working legit educated people, and criminals to get computers while IN PRISON!
They need to take the "humanity compassion" bullcrap out of prison and make those MFrs SUFFER while in there. Death Row??? how about 72 hours not 20 years. Taxpayers keep these rejects alive when one jolt of juice or a needle in the arm would save all that money. Lower the US deficit by killing people on death row. Put fear back into going to prison. And finally ... cutk skaters pecker OFF and make him a UNIC FOR LIFE.

A Friend ... will bring you glass after glass of water when you have to take a drug test. A TRUE friend will piss in the cup for you.

A Friend will visit you in the hospital after a nasty accident. A TRUE friend will look over from the other bed and say ... I think we F***d up this time!

I am hearing about zombie mods and other non paitnball things to be added so why not a 3 shot to kill then. Zombies have nothing to do with paintball, I have been told this is not real paintball when I suggest real type things. What gives?

I do kind of agree about the ridiculous pricing of software. What does Autodesk 3DS Max have that makes it worth $3,000 when with Google Sketchup and all the needed plugins which would come to about $125 total can do exactly the same thing and much easier? Some game making software too, pay $0 to make games for yourself but to license and sell games it will cost you $5,000 to $15,000 for a piece of paper saying you can sell them. No wonder game prices shot up high so people can recoop their investment. In some cases I did not care what SOPA would do but others, being an american and knowing we have a constitution that gives rights to us that SOPA is taking away. Either do right or burn that worthless piece of scrap paper if it means nothing anymore.

my freind was telling me that Anon is going to hack the us government or something like that if this happens. is that true?

They already did something as a start, do you think Iran actually shot down that Spy Drone? I was in the military and those drones pack enough explosives to completely burn up from an explosion when hit. I feel sorry for the group that has the drone over there as if the US gets a signal back to the processor they will blow it up remotely and kill all those trying to examine it.( that is why the president asked nicely ... will you give us back our drone?? They said no so his next uletior motive is to get a signal there and remote detonate it. I hope they succeed) The other drone also a week later that "mysteriosly" crashed right after takeoff, Anon again. SOPA is going to start the first ever Internet war and we all will be involved worldwide. .. .. .. On a side note I don't use Limewire or iTunes I use and will keep using Ares P2P no website to track there it is 100% software driven by each individual computer installed on.

Minecraft style is what they see visually, blocky hills and mountains. Until the terrains can become fluid (if ever possible) Everyone will think lego block style minecraft when playing. Eye candy is the biggest factor in a game these days and blocky graphics does not win even if the gameplay is top rate. Grab a newer BSP that has use of fluid realistic terrains and mod that up instead of keeping a dinosaur alive in the world of games.

ugh MORE... that sux. Want a great game lots of new people will play. Get rid of the superjumps and "tricks" you have to learn in order to survive a game as a newbie. Make it realistic, don't say realism does not work in video games. Saints Row and the GTA series use realistic world settings and sell billions of copies. New players leave when some "pro" can tag them out within 3 seconds of game start on a map that will take the newbie 45 seconds to cross. Speedjumps, superjumps, running faster mods make for less attraction to gameplay.

Sadly Tyrone, this is also how it is in the real paintball world too. All the so called pros out there pwning the new players so bad they do not want to come back again. Then in stagin area you hear them put down the newbies and "high five" for stomping them to death. In the real paintball world this "field" would have closed years ago but being it is the only online field to play at is why it is still here. Why are there no alternatives to play after 20 years of the game being played worldwide. Well nobody wants to compete with a free game that has good gameplay and has what some people want. NPPL 2009 was as lousy as Extreme Paintbrawl and Renegade Paintball. And all 3 of those cost money to get and play. So if people here worked together, it could stay alive because free always wins over pay in computer games.

You can only arrest someone in a soverign recognized country whereas OffShore is not a country, abides by no countries laws and is free to do anything it possibly can in its own power. No laws from other countries have rule or power there. It can be a small island, retired oil rig or even an old luxury liner anchored at sea to be free of any countries laws. Some of the countries that are not in agreement with the said laws will support the OffShore people so any act against them can be construed as an act of war and nobody wants that right now. It is a very sensative place the US has not dared to step yet, and possibly wont step.

Well I have played real paintball since the 80s so I decided to go to all the websites I have used and know of and just ask them if they could plug the game with a link. I even made a banner they could use if interested with the logo up top and the game photo from the news page. I will hear back from some I am sure if not all with a yes or no. Other than NPPL 2009 there is NO other paintball online game and NPPL 2009 is not for PC just Xbox and PS3 so a more open range for them to support the game for. At most in return from some would be them asking here to put a banner link ad for thier site as well so no money transfer between either place, one hand washes the other to help each grow. Hopefully the 5 sites I asked will say yes and we will get new players here very soon. Time will only tell .... keep fingers crossed.

Help and Support / Re: Computer Crashes
« on: December 22, 2011, 04:05:37 PM »
if it is only happening while playing DP then apparently someone might have a script running on the server that your computer can not handle, like a SynFlood script which overloads all your processes and ram to cause shutdown. (Only immunity to a SynFlood script would be to have a system more powerful than the one sending it and connected on a T3 or higher, Cable and DSL stand no chance against Synflooding) Have someone check the servers for running scripts. I used to host on a chat server and ran SynFlood scripts on certain persons causing some problems when they could bypass a ban. Especially if the servers run PHP software as those scripts are very easy to come by freely. Just something else to check, sounds fishy to me.
