This is getting out of hand. This wont be a good start to any committe. Lets just let jitspoe assign 5-6 committe members (not counting himself). He made the game, hes active, he knows a fair amount of the players. Getting this to complex will kill it, allowing stupid people to be in the committe will kill it, it getting this much negative publicity will kill it.
I vote let jitspoe decide and lets get this roling. If you dont get selected you can still contribute in which ever ways you want.

Acid, you accuse people of hacking for the hell of it, Borg hasnt lead a successful clan for more than 2 weeks, these are the type of people that deserve to be on a committe? this whole clique of people against er33t is pathetic, just cause we're better than you all doesn't mean we cheat/hack or use any advantages or whatever the intercourse u wanna call them. we just have more skill, end of story. good night.
y2j, before muthax.exe when was the last time i accused anyone of being a cheater that wasnt? I told everyone jade cheated...holy crap she did! I have had like 5 sr teamates of your tell me you had very shifty gaming, such as all white textures and glowing bodies, wallhacks, so be quiet. Y2j no offense but if you want to see whos a better team...match for once with out blitz and we will see where the team er33t is. I dont have anything against team er33t, infact i have been doing quiet well trying to get along with digi and bob, and i have always had a good relationship with blitz. everyone should have a voice, on the committe or not. The problem i see with limiting the amount of reps from a clan is...wheres XP rep? or any other clans besides cp,sp,er33t,cf,smurf? Look at prozak, Borgus, Dt and myself...Borgus and i have lead successful clans for near 5 years, and dt has been our female dog (jking) The three of us have contributed to dp in one way or another and we have never done anything to "harm" the dp community. However if you get like jer, protee,y2j, or anyone else who doesnt care or isnt willing to put forward a serious effort this will go no where.
I think maybe a standard vote should be done.
Come up with a number of people for the committe, for example 10, or 5...doesnt matter. Then non wanna-be committe members vote on who out of the list should be a committe member.
Then if we wanted to get nifty certian members can be assigned jobs, teams, what ever to look after.

I like this, I can see this being sexy! I saw my name was thrown into the mix of things. I can host what ever (as far as servers off of bonded T1 lines) Also i would be willing to host more files for paintball, i have 3mb of unused upload. If someone wants to get a page together for this i will host that as well (http://whatever.vcweb.org)
I have stuck with dp for many many years, I have a basic concept of whats rules should be involed in a match, and i also have a eye for cheaters! (me stares at muthax.exe) :-). I would be willing to help in any way you would like. Let me know!

RB you have a ton of good ideas... I think it would be best for things to start off a little slower. An organized DPL would be a big shock to a lot of players, I mean when was that last semi-good DPL? Most of the players probably arnt even sure what in all is involved in joining the DPL. I would be more then willing to help with what ever the community decides to do.
I would also like to see some offical DPL servers. Maybe if clans were to have to enter a small fee (obviously the more clans the lower the fee) we could buy a colocation and set up some servers and host all of the DP files.

you know mut i must give you an A for effort...i didnt make the demo with the hack on it, infact the person who made the demo with the hack on it was someone who was defending you at the start. I had no part in doing anything with that demo after i took it.

2. then you nail the guy in the corner who never shot once. He also never jumped once. and he was ducked. ntm anyone who wants to watch the rest of the demo feel free he doesnt "check" that corner any other time.

LOL Mut, We had less then 5 minutes of demo and it was very obvious...i tested you so many times during midnight2 and before our 3rd started recording so dont even bother...you werent even trying to hide it...its funny you left the second we started questioning you about it. or maybe when you were camping your base you obviously some how knew you had enough time to double back for another gren...anyone who knows what to look for can tell.

If anyone is willing to make a good maplist and dcc it to me on irc that would be super. There is also a lot of Speed Cheating going, If you see someone come to irc and get me and i will temp ban them. The servers will be going on an actually server box pretty soon, the lag should then be a little bit better. Im sorry to those who dont ping well to the servers...but i guess its better then nothing. We do need servers so if someone feels they can do a better job please do! Also check out #dp-clans it should be good fun once we get everything going.
