Hello,
I present to you, my first installment of possibly many more to my wonderful map repertoire; Flatearth_Arena.
I wanted to give mapping a go with my first Pub/cheese 2v2/3v3 map similarly to dhemap and daylight. This current pandemic gave me some extra free time. I think it has a good and fun theme that is troll in nature for teams like [ b ]allers to play on.
The map was aimed to emulate the map of the flatearth theory; ie they believe the world is surrounded by a ring of ice. There's an infinite amount of combination jumps due to this unique ring of ice. The mid game play is too slow and doesn't contrast well with the ice-ring but oh well. I would had liked to of scaled this map down probably by 25 percent too.
I will work on adjustments accordingly based on feedback. thank you all papa bless

Hey, old schooler here...
there is directly no way to say any of the current players playing DP currently is the best player.
Read the posts... all the players were mentioned I know of very well and the ones seriously mentioned are really good players.
However, lol, there are just so many players in the NA and old EU that really combat their claim to be the best.
Strictly the volume of players previously were much larger.
More players, more teams, more adversity, (less maps sure, but I fully stopped playing in.. 2014? and there were some new maps for rotation but also the standards ones were still in play.) //// the whole map argument is questionable because if you gave an older player time to just learn the jumps and strategies of the map then that really cancels out that argument.
I've played since 1998, and to this day I will say shk is #1 (NA and EU) player throughout every player i've seen... hes the one who's had no life and has been stupidly good.
honestly.... there has just been so many elite players in and out of this game though, that so many new people would never know of their names and the oldies will never get the light of day for what they did for this game and communitycre.

Same thing has happened to me numerous times with Clan [ s ] "silence" noobies or randoms somehow get leadership and sit on the clan so when ever I try to come back to the game/community I'm never allowed access to my own clan.

myers bix, bob and baid (digi for his era) are notable in that order talking in tiers - this is god tier
however there are A LOT of amazing players to play this game where their name will be lost in the history books, such as myself, me, I'm one the of the greats. anyone to refute me is wrong and deserves to be branded as a liar.

I have been informed from my comrade MyeRs that there will be another tournament happening in the new year. I, TiNi will awake from DP slumber and will grace the lot of you with my presence.
There is no reason for me to state this really, but i shall reiterate what we all are thinking. Yes, I am the greatest DP player ever to exist and all participants should be worried for their reputation as i am about to take a big helping pile of poop on your egos.
I would like to take the time to thank kKd, a player I have never heard of and realistically a player that won't be a real threat to me and my long erected fingers that will be manipulating a plastic keyboard that I shall be using to butt phuck you with.
I will be respecting all of the players in the tournament as a mobile target waiting to get pummelled by my words and my digital paint ammunition.
In concerns to any europeans in the tournament - I will take a Donald Trump approach and blanket bomb the regions of your base when I am playing against you. None shall touch my flag.

Hey there gonass, where abouts will you be staying in Toronto?
There's good nightlife on King street , Queen Street
theres always things going on.. im pretty sure theres some sort of music event going on all week. Check 'blogTO'. It has great reviews from eating to nightlife.
Go to "kensington market" fun little hippie part of toronto. good eating good vibes, connects very close to queen street where night life is.
zanzibar is the famous strip club if you want a lap dance.
Eatons center + dundas sqaure, theres usually things happening.
The uoft campus is a pretty sweet walk to do. over 100 years old, very cool buildings inside and out
Jays games, TFC games... Argos games..
All of lakeshore is recommended for tourists + distillery district - i recommend just going on the "steam whistle brew tour"
