Hm I think there is a func_something for explosions but I'm not positive.
There is, but it just emits a pattern of spark things, and it looks crappy

-Where do you see explosions in pantball?
-That's been proposed, but it'd take some time (mostly getting the new characters modeled), and there are more pressing matters at hand.

-...Why? You can add light entities in maps if you want sourceless point lights.

-Cool idea. Go to the feature vote thread.
-rscripts can do the same thing. Better to use those than to go through the trouble of adding GIF support.

First, for the light suggestoin, i knew about that, i meant a glowing effect that you can add to the ligh source to make it look like its an energy beam or something, second, i didnt mean explosions for grenades, i just meant a realistic animated explosion you can add, for effect, like the fire you can add

The map doesnt even load, it shows just a texture, nothing else, no ammo count or anything!

-There should be realistic explosions, not that crappy burst thing

-There should be a selection of different character looks, just to be a neat little feature

-There should be a way to put a logo on your character with a way for others to see it

-There should be a way to make a glowing ambiant light effect, like with beams or a magic sorta aura look

-there should be weather effects EX=Rain, snow, lightning,wind, falling leaves ect.

-There should be a dust effect for dirt textures, like small clouds of dust from your feet when you walk

-There should be support for GIF textures so you can add TV effects or moving screen animations

Im making a map with BSP that almost reaches each of the boundaries but stays a distance away, and every time I try to play it, when it starts to load Map:Coolness *couldnt think of any other name*, It just displays a texture on the screen and nothing else, then it freezes and i have to end task it. Whats wrong with the stupid thing?

i know that, why cant they just make the boundaries larger than? they dont even really matter, you onlyy see the map alone anyway. the boundaries are too small anyway.
