I've realized how much I suck after leaving...


At least SOME people remember me.  I don't get asked for 2's anymore.  When I volunteer they say: 'I don't remember u.' or 'Who are you? I don't think you should play.'

I'm using Windows XP and Service Pack 2.

You can run XP in "Compatibility Mode" when using older programs that don't support XP.

The graphics card I have has PixelShader 2.0 I believe.

Is it alright if I post my PC's specs for the one that I need $400 for? I don't wanna keep posting new things...

This plays Happy Wheels on the normal settings with blood set to "2".

How's it going, everyone? I recently found a PC that had a sign on it that said: "Free Computer. Please take" (I'm serious.) at my church. I went ahead and decided to take it.

Here are the specs:

Inter Pentium 4
CPU 2.00GHz
2GB of RAM
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700LE 256MB
DX 9.0



Do you guys know of anything that I will be able to play.
(I'm not upgrading this one. I'm saving up 400 dollars for a custom built PC.)

I wouldn't know where to put this since it is related to different things.



Is there a WORLD view model command to where you see your world view model in first person?

How easy would this be to port to another console (I was thinking Dream Cast (Since most versions don't need to be modded to play burned games)

Would the Dream Cast be too weak?

Well, we could have it to where you don't have to have voice chat on your server, but if you do you can have it...


And players can have an option to turn off voice chat or silence other players so they can't here them.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before.

I've been noticing some things ever since I've started playing, that, it's hard to chat most of the time.

Now, I've thought of 2 ways of solving this:

Voice Chat

Pros:

People will be able to keep playing while talking and not have to spend there time typing.

Able to easily warn your team mates of a camper or flag holder etc.

Can just hold down a button to talk to team, and hold down a button to talk to all.


Cons:

Mic Spammers. (Kids, n00bs, ragers.)

That's all I could truly think of.


Then we can be able to have:

Separate Chat and Kills as mentioned in the title.
Kind of like in Source games, have the kills in the upper right corner with a symbol indicating what gun or what type of death. Then in the lower left would be the chat.

Pros:

Easily see what people are saying without having to open the console if a lot of kills are registering into the console and chat.

Cons:

Take up some room on screen possibly.


That's all I could think of.

I just can't stand consoles for some stuff. I love them for driving, but hate them for FPS.

I wonder how good this PC would do for Crysis, 1 or 2.


It did seem pretty good saying that it should run of the games to 2013. I don't mind putting settings down at all.
Plus I wont another computer cause the laptop I'm on will barely run this.

The only thing in my config file was a script that would change my team to observer then back to a team. (For jump maps)
 

But it is resolved now. I'm still afraid to go into H4 textures. I think I like the current textures with out the pack.

SERVER LAG

I haven't really played for a long time so I decided to a little while ago. I saw the server list showing pings ranging from 160-300 average. The lowest was 140, so I joined that. My ping was about at a 150 area and would jump up to about 180 everyonce in a while. Everyone said it looked like I was flying sometimes. At times when I would shoot there would be about a 3 second delay. This is when it would jump up to the high pings. All servers did this to me.

Things I have tried:

Reconnecting.
Different servers.
Instead of using wireless, use a cable.
Restarting my laptop.
Trying a different computer.

NONE of these worked.




CLIENT LAG (FPS)

Along with server lag, I experienced TERRIBLE FPS. I usually have about 60 FPS steady. But now, I'm dropping into about 5-10 FPS. It feels UNPLAYABLE.

Things I have tried:

Restarting
Different servers
Reconnecting
Lowering the settings down to the lowest
No H4


NONE of it worked.

Any help? I love this game and I've spent so much time on it. (About 200+ hours!)

It may be dated, but I'm on a very low budget... I don't mind having to run a game on low... I don't give a crap bout graphics. What about Arma? How good will it run?

I've used AMD/ATI ALL of my life. Every laptop and PC had it. I actually don't have any money right now, but me and my dad created this little tiny business to go to the landfill, grab every PC part we see, then build it, then sell it. I don't want this to be a console/PC war, but my dad said we can put the money towards a PS3 and bills. I say a gaming PC and bills.

Well, I found this on YouTube, and it sounded almost too good to be true... I would actually like to have Skyrim on here.

Since the Phenom is 3.4ghz, and still a quad core, wouldn't it still be decent. I might go get a cooler after a while but I honestly don't like overclocking.

Hey, everyone! Yesterday I was looking at some parts online to go into my old PC. I started thinking, why not build an entire PC? On the GTA 4 on the Yahoo Answers page, he has less RAM then me but the guy said he could still play GTA 4. I don't see how that is possible since he doesn't even reach the Min. Requirements (On GameDebate).

I forgot to add this: I looked online for upgrades and now I'm going to have 2 gb instead on 1. I cant find another graphics card. Can anyone help?

Hey guys! Long time no see.  I sold my old PC that I had and started to look for a better one. One day my dad went to the landfill and found a laptop. (This seems to be the way I always get my computers.)  He brought it home and it worked. He told me I could keep it.

Out of the games I've tried, here's a list of what I can play:  (This is all Valve games...)

TF2 (Lowest possible settings with a performance config and the old school models pack.)

Portal (Highest possible settings)

Left 4 Dead (Highest possible settings)



I was wondering if there were any recommendations you guys would like to tell me. (Nothing like WoW or LoL)

Also, I saw the same laptop on a Yahoo! Answers question, but with lower specs. An answer said that he could be able to play GTA 4 lowest settings. Is this true?)

I was thinking it could be a TF2 clone!

Possibly could be called:

Squad Compund 2  (Yeah. It sucks.)

Think of Gang Garrison 2. The title is made of synonyms of "Team" and "Fortress".

Someone, (Deadfrogy? ) can make models similar to the characters in TF2.

The names would have to be changed also.

Heres a question: If I used abuild before 27 but after 18, how would I make it to where you wont be able to login, and how would I make servers for Dp not to show up on the server list, but servers for this game to show up. BTW there will be multiplayer. Please someone also tell me how to set up multiplayer for the game to use after its done.

I was wondering if it would be possible to mod DP into something else, say a modern warfare game. (not like CoD MW) I was thinking of changing all the sounds to my own and changing the models. Since youu can get Global Banned for modifying some content, I was thinking of ways to get past it.
