All packets arrive in the expected order and with unchanged contents.

... Wait. I just recognized how you can easily  reproduce the scores problem:

- Start a server.
- Add bots until the player limit is reached.
- Connect to your server.
- The new connection replaces one of the bots. The userinfo doesn't seem to be updated...

I really like the lighting, too. Yeah, maybe the round light in the center could be a bit bigger, but overall I think it's very well lit. I also like the fact that one can now escape from the autococker box. :)

Still, there is one and only one thing that baffles me: how did you get one of the wood floors (to the right in your XY view) to be rotated by exactly 88,8 degrees? :o ;D

I'd just join a server with a decent map and wait until other players are coming along. Usually it doesn't take a long time.

Also, filenames should be all lowercase so they don't cause issues with Linux.

Name it insidedm_b2 and everything will be just fine ;)

Just want to point out some texture issues:

1. middle (your screen #1) - that trans33 on metal is a nice idea, but just doesn't look right. Maybe just make it opaque?

2. starting position (my screen #1) - replace the brown bricks with red ones.

3. middle (my screen #2) - rotate wood textures A and B by 90 degrees so they line up with the middle ramp. Leave C and D alone :)

Krizdo4: I think a better vote would be to develop a proper decal system where splats actually conform to the surface (instead of hanging over the edge of things or getting cut off by walls).  Double sided splats would look really bad hanging out over the edges of bunkers and stuff.  Another thing I've wanted to do is make a fragment program that will take into account the texture brightness so bumps and shadows on a texture show up on the splat, too.  That's not very critical, though, so I'll wait a few versions before I vote for it.

If this is added, you also shouldn't be able to clean painted walls by vid_restart or reconnecting. Storing it serverside would create massive lag though...

In deathmatch (and maybe Apocalypse's new mode), could there be a number on the HUD that always shows the kill count of the best player? So you don't have to look at the scoreboard all the time...

I made another version two weeks ago, never gotten around to releasing it. Probably played too much ;D

- fixed ladder textures
- perfected box textures
- decreased color saturation a bit
- mapinfo file is attached (0-8 players, ctf, dm)

This could be the final version, objections?

You might also like to use debug1 for that. Type "debug1 1" at the console and the game will start even without bots. You can also put it in the batch file, of course.

When the problem is there, "build 0". Rarely it says "build 16" and then everything is fine.
