Why do you need the q2 files?

DP is no longer based directly off of Q2 so even using the demo won't work any more.

Because I want the files so I can play some meddling freeze tag you know what I'm talking about.

Now I know how to make and start a server from the guide that is givin on the website, but after build 18 came out it wouldn't show up on the server list. In the game can anyone help me and tell me if I'm missing something?

When I try to login it doesn't let me it says "Connecting to login server", and just stays like that and then never lets me login.

Aww Sorry about the last entry. Anyway I got my build 18 to work. I did what jitspoe said and changed the place I stored it.

I'm having the same problem I can't download 16 either and I have a brand new video card and drive I don't know what they are but they are brand new and I had 16 find but then when I try to get 18 it says theres and error on like 3 files and I can't get it I get some of the fetures like the login in and other stuff but it still says I have build 16.

Well when I try to login it. it doesn't let me. and it says I have build 16 when I updated and then it still didn't work so I redownloaded it and it still says build 16 can;t anyone help me with my problems?? thank
