Keep it, it looks sick.  Normal water gets boring after a while.
I would but it gets distracting haha. Especially since the top moves like how the water ripples, but the colors move along with where I'm looking.

Try downgrading drivers.  ATI and Vista don't like to play well with this game.  :P

that's why I didn't get vista again. I'm sticking with xp till ati decides to stop detectiveing around.

Update drivers! If that doesn't work, rollback drivers! There's nothing we can do to help here. ATI and OgenGL don't really get along.
yeah I just did that, even tried the omega drivers. I really don't like ATI

You might try nVidia. :)
lame.
that's like taking your 2005 car to a car wash and they tell you to go buy a new car.

You might try older drives.  ATi drivers are hit or miss.  If you find some that work, don't touch them.
no dice, all gave me the same thing.

That's what she said.

Since you have an ATI card, my first bet is to blame their typically-crappy drivers.  Do you have any other OpenGL applications you could try?  You might also have to enable hardware acceleration somewhere.  I don't use vista, so I'm not sure what settings it has.
yeah all the hardware accelerations are at max. I guess it's the crappy drivers. I kinda figured that would be it. I guess I have to wait. darn

ATI cards are a pain.  First thing you should try to do is update your video drivers.
I did, newest ones. There's no omega drivers for vista yet. I got the drivers directly from ati.com

Help and Support / Vista Problem?
« on: March 12, 2008, 04:01:35 PM »
I recently put Vista Ultimate on my comp (yeah yeah I know, shut up) and installed my vid card drivers and everything. DP won't run though, I get the opengl error. I got the newest drivers from ATI and the catalyst center too. The info on it says it's got opengl installed. So far this is the only problem I've had on vista, I'm having dp withdrawals though. I know some of you have had a problem like this because I did some searching around, but no solid answer. Any help would be cool. I put two pics of what I'm talking about. BTW, my vid card is a 512MB ATI Radeon x1650.

He most likely modified a gun texture or a skin for the player models.

He doesn't know how to do that, trust me.

No you can not get banned for changing the background of the main menu.

Then why is he banned?

I usually don't post on here. I've been talking to fox and he says all he changed was the main page? Could you get banned for that? I was about to do it too, that's why I'm asking.
