I agree, but there are some issues.
There are still problems with demos not autorecording 100% of the time.
Punishment - a short ban perhaps. But as we know, bans do not always come swiftly. It takes awhile for jitspoe to ban a player, not sure if he would be willing to use that time for such a small offence.

There is a button on your post called "modify", use it. Jitspoe lets any hacker cut their bantime in half, that is more than gracious.

Most of the people who are banned for long amounts of time have already had their chance to stop hacking, and didn't. I would rather have less players that don't hack, than more that do. Quality not quantity. Take this opportunity to advertise the game and bring in/help new players.

Seeing the multiple threads of others doing the same as you, looks like you were pretty much the most influential member in the DP matching scene, NA that is. It's a shame. If DP's most influential/active member was anti-cheating, I can't help but wonder where the others would fall..

Ah, yes. I believe you can reserve an [ x ] server in any channel you find "DPServ". (by typing !x)

« on: July 03, 2011, 01:03:54 AM »Both Teams [CC] and [ x ] have match servers for use. Both are good servers to use. Your ping will depend on your location to the server and how it is routed.
The [ x ] was missing
You can reserve match servers via IRC. Simply type !cc in #team_cc or !x in #team_x.

I suppose he could be an acceptable newbie (providing he answer the rest of the newbie questions on the application). The problem is where do I draw the line at where a player is not right for this program? I can't treat everyone as a newbie, as you might have seen the joke posts of older, experienced players in this thread.
