Help and Support / Re: video card issues in windows 7
« on: April 16, 2010, 02:54:19 PM »
Ok, Got it working 64bit Windows 7.

ATI released a '7 compatible Vista 64 driver.  So, installed that and set DP to Vista SP 2 compatibility mode and presto!

So, after 4 years of no DP, I'm really gonna suck..... :P

Strike 1 - ATI Vid Card
Strike 2 - WIndows 7
Strike 3 - 64 bit.

I'll accept the first two with grace, however I've got lots of other 32 bit games working perfectly.  Most (if not all) run DirectX though, so perhaps it's just an OpenGL thing.

Help and Support / video card issues in windows 7
« on: June 15, 2009, 01:56:41 PM »
My video card is causing the "opengl incompatible" error on startup.

I have the ATI Radeon x1950 Pro using the ATI 8.56.1.13 drivers.

I'm running windows 7 RC build 7100 64 bit.

I'm curious if this is because my card is now considered Legacy by AMD and they don't have 64 bit Windows 7 Drivers available.

Anything I might be missing here?  This is the first time I havn't been able to run dp since '99 (as a Quake2 mod)... ;)

Paintball 2 Discussion / Re: Real Paint ball?

Having played real paintball and db, they only thing I'd love to see is points for teamplay.  Being a programming, I know that would be next to impossible to do, but it's the thought that counts, right?

Seams like only the old school players know how to play as a team.....

In that case, admin abuse would be justified, dont you think?

This is really wierd......

NeOn's DSL Server shows up twice in my server list.  Once from the serverlist.php and once from my LAN.  Funny thing is though, If i connect to the listing with the high ping (999, lol), it shows my dhcp addres 192.168.1.107.  If i connect to the one with the low ping (14) it shows my routers address, 192.168.1.10.

Shouldn't this be reverse?

So just download paintball2_build014_linux_full.tar.gz from this site?  Will it run a dedicated server?

Never mind, just read the docs section! lol
I should be able to get it done with the cool tutorial.  Thanks guys!

Quick Question....

Is there a full quake II server package to download somewhere, or would I be better off just compiling
the  Icculus Quake2 source?

I've got a linux box with Gentoo 2005 installed and would like to run a db server on it.  Most files I'v found so far are
for a windows platform.

Thanks.....
