No i am not. And no sound at all. This was a really common problem a while ago. A lot of people were having the issue but it seems that everyone gave up and never came back or maybe they found a fix.

That is a new one. Didn;t seem tow ork though. snd_driver doesn;t seem to be a proper command.... i am typing this in terminal. Should this be appended to the launch game command?

Help and Support / still no sound fix?
« on: February 23, 2009, 01:14:31 PM »
I installed this game a year or two ago and because of the /dev/dsp: Device or resource busy sound problem and the fact that i could not, at all, find a fix, i uninstalled it.

I figured today i would give it ago again... maybe the developers fixed things... maybe someone found a fix... but that does not seem to be the case at all.

What is the deal here?

I had this problem last year and couldnt find a fix. I desided since it has been a while, that a fix must have been found or that the developers have recognized the problem and fixed it

guess i was wrong

so i will now, again, be uninstalling. :(
