Clans, Matches, and Tournaments / Re: Wanting to join a clan.
« on: June 01, 2009, 05:08:26 AM »
Ok well I will let you know all of this, and I've applied for eR33t juniors so this post may have fulfilled its purpose but I will post the rest just in case.

Location: -- UK
Previous Clans: -- UNT (United) -- Don't even remeber joining them. -- iSi-b -- Not the kind of clan I wanted, lots of people told me to leave so I did. -- 3iob-t -- Left due to the clan being deemed 'dead' after the mother clan 3iob itself went down.
Future Clan: Training/Possibility to participate in matches, learning from the more experienced players and a chance to improve my aim.
Played DP officially since last year Feb time but only for around a week then started playing properly in the last 3 months.
What I like about DP: Its all fun but I enjoy killing and learning good places to hide/jump ect (love good jump maps like airtime) Maps: OTH, AIRTIME and some others which the name slips me. (Propaint)

My main issue is that I probably only like OTH because it requires next to no skill in the publics and I can line and blitz everyone.

Alright thanks everyone I will try some of the things you've suggested but as you say one of the main factors must just be practise and prediction of the other players movements. (Not mention seeing the line :P.) Im getting a lot better now I've realised im mostly a harder target when I don't crouch each time someone comes towards me but theres still a lot to learn. Oh and m7 thanks for that I don't think im at my 'ceiling' yet as you called it since im still improving not to mention only been playing two months but I am in agreement with what you just said, and my jumps are coming along nicely :).

Thanks keep em coming.

I understand im new to all of this so can't really add much to the discussion...but I feel that the clan scene from what I've experience has been alright...its hard for newer players to find there feet but after you idle in IRC and listen in to matchs like Justin said it becomes easier and I must say although im applying for their trainee team s2k and their crew have been great and making me feel welcome. I don't feel its declining at all, im new and yet im not being put off but the occassional poor clans or players.

Thanks.

Paintball 2 Discussion / Aim -- Tips and Tricks

Well I've checked around the 'newer' topics and nothing seems to relate to this so I thought I'd start a topic concerning aim since its my worst issue :P. Maps like OTH ect im fine since there is no real skill to spawn killing but get to other maps and im a goner, so any ways you aim would be cool.

Thanks.
