- Transparent textures must start with 32_ or 16_
- sky is define with a sky1 or sky2 textures in Hammer. 1 is use for no light from sky, and with 2, you can specify a light from sky with sky2_force in the map properties.
- The liquids must start with liquide

As you can or you will see in this post, the converter now allows to use transparent textures and water.

I am seeing a resemblance in maps for a different game. This map looks a lot like a map from halflife2 that I play at my uncles house. And the textures are almost the same. I think you are stealing the textures/maps from different games. You know you can/could be charged for this?

Please stop! I work many hours from FREE (!!!) textures to create this textures.

For the general idea of each texture, I use an already existing texture indeed, and with free textures (all are free!), I make a texture (free too also) which look like the original texture. I have all the “assemblies” on my pc, and, if he ask me, I would send them to Jitspoe before the first diffusion of the map, so that he can confirm that their are free textures.
And for the map, I also started from scratch.

Thus thank you Terminator to stop your wounding messages!

- First of all, these screenshots were made on a notebook which doesn't make more than 62fps.
For this level, we have allways 62fps, like on airtime, shazam and all good map.
I have beetween 280 and 340 fps on my home PC.

- I will change the stairs texture.

- The screenshots were made with HR4 textures enabled, but the low resolution textures are too ready. We will do screenshots with LR textures as soon as the qbsp3 accept to understand that there is no hole were it said that there is one.

I use the .lin to find the hole, and it pass through the wall. There is no hole!

Where can You get hammer and a guide

You need Half Life 2, and some preparations to be able to use Hammer.
The guide is provided with the software.  Hammer is just a more recent version of Worldcraft.
If you have the first condition, I would explain you the continuation.

I think they are re-doing the lightning?

Now that I have the structure of the level, I actually re-work on each building. I have too change the sky with one another period of the day (night falling).

I will first finish the buildings before lightning, and after the lightning, I will perhaps work on the textures.

Hi,

I'm Freud friend who work on this level. I just post to explain me.

I will finish this level with this textures. I play only paintball at work on a local network. So the use of the textures will not be a problem.

If I have time, I will create new textures for a Internet use.
