hotmail aslo blocks a TON of outside email addresses.

I have an account on every popular email/IM service: AOL, Gmail, Yahoo, and Hotmail.

They're all the same to me.

Get the GreaseMonkey script to make Gmail use HTTPS all the time.

I hate Hotmail. It sucks at filtering spam and it deletes a lot of messages that are not spam. I have both my Gmail and Hotmail accounts released to the public (i.e. posted on the net), and I get 10x more spam in Hotmail than I do in Gmail (into my inbox). I don't fear about spambots at all, because I use Gmail.

As for Yahoo! Mail... not as good as Gmail, but still far better than Hotmail. I don't like its new Ajax interface though. Compared to Gmail, load up time is really slow.

Uh no... a lot of sites sell/release your information. Besides that, I post my email address on websites.

Since my ISP has partnered with Yahoo! (dating back years ago) to provide services like e-mail and hosting, we as customers usually get the best or second best that Yahoo! has to offer. That being said, I've never used their new e-mail service, but I've read a few reviews online saying that it's great. I'm also pretty sure that jitspoe is a die-hard Y!-mail user dating back 10 years.

hotmail will block gmail invites for starters.
Yahoo still needs to get better control of their outbound spammage.
