Old Candian TV = Amazing?

Our any of our Canadian members familiar with "Corner Gas" ?  I checked it out, and I guess it ran in Canada a few years ago, but now it's on almost every night on a nationally syndicated station here. 

I've got to say, it's definitely one of the funniest shows that I know of... Despite that dumb plots, it often unfolds in a Seinfeldesque, low-key fashion.

There's one more Canadian show that I'm blanking on the name right now, but wow you oddballs to the North sure know funny :D

lol, corner gas is huge where im from....cuz it would be like 1 hour away from where i live

you probably dont understand half the jokes in the show because you dont live in saskatchewan. but ill tell you that show is pretty accurate about small towns.


is the other show SCTV, thats pretty famous..or degrassi?

I had no idea you were Canadian, nightryder :P  SCTV is Second City right?  We have that in America too, it's nothing _amazing_ here, Degrassi isn't a comedy is it?  I wish I could remember the name....

Are Canadians responsible for Strange Brew?  Or were we Amerians just mocking you?  I loved that movie...


Edit:  Haha I used to love the Red Green show before my tastes evolved into the type of comedy I like now, 'twas good stuff. :D

Check out Trailer Park Boys, it has to be the best show we have going.  As far as I know Corner Gas is still on the air.

Hey, I live like an hour away from where cornor gas is made.I'm Pretty sure it still plays here I'd have to check.
