Internet Connection Sharing Issues

Ok i got this computer running windows XP it has wireless, the main internet connection IP is set by the router according to the MAC. The client is also windows xp. I followed the guides i found but have no luck getting it to work. It works fine on a virtual pc and stuff.

I dont know if ics works.

typically in ics, one network connection goes to the isp, the other network connection gets a static ip, is the default gateway for the lan and client pc', and gets connected to the lan switch, and dishes out ip addresses via dhcp. 

the client pc's will be dhcp  enabled and get their ip from the ics pc.

Yeah, it works fine for PS2 but not on windows xp. I have no clue whats wrong
