should i try and clutter it up a little. you know likr add some barrels or sumthing to get fps back up? and btw i always have  about 50 fps so for me 30 isnt even that bad. although i dont seem to get the drops in fps...

I normaly have about a hundred. That is odd though maybe it's one of those things where once it gets so low it's virtually impossible to get any lower :/

I don't think this map is vised correctly at all.  It looks like either it isn't vised at all, or you had a leak and just put a box around the whole thing.  gl_showtris 1 shows the entire map.  Maybe you've done something weird like set the detail flag on everything.  You need to fix that, though.  The map isn't playable in its current state.

It was a just a mistake. but in the future remember to final compile any map you are releasing, even beta.

EDIT: i am also working on gettin fps to stay ssomewhat constant in all areas of the map. i am adding some barrels/boxes down the hallways. and the same sort of thing in mid

The problem wasn't the final compile.  The problem is that your map has a leak.  That or you put a big box around it to fix the leak, but I think it's just a leak.  I can noclip outside of the map and see the brushes on the outside.  This should  never be the case on a properly constructed map.  Watch the compiler window closely.  If it says *** leaked ***, you need to fix that ASAP.

well i think it looks better with the barrels, but those rectanglular box things i personally think need to become barrels. I dont think you fixed your leak. Your R_speeds r terrible. oh well, i like the map so far.

I can see a wall of water outside, if i go out of the map from the waterway low.
