Lose Change all over again?

Edit: banks don't keep people in debt, people do.  Quit putting down my family business.

Cmon now, that movie is old.  Dystro has been talking about it for months.

Obviously, it's pretty false.

Wait, is this what spurred that huge, multi-channel IRC argument a few months ago?

Didn't hear about that arguement.. But honestly take your heads out of your asses and try some critical thinking... you just say its false because you don't want to believe it.  Show me some proof that shows its fake.

If they loan out each dollar they make for 1$ plus interest they are putting everyone in debt.  This isnt about "banks" its about the central bank and where the money is produced.

Where do credit card companies get their money?  They loan it from the central bank?

I have not watched the video nor do I really plan to... but...

I don't know anything about the bank thing, but if you ever go learn economics, you learn that the world of economics is an ugly place. Same with politics.

Ever send letters to your politicians? Not sure how many of them do read your letters, but they have franking privilege, a mailing list to keep track of people who send them letters (and what they support) and machines to duplicate the representative's signature with a ballpoint pen. They can just send letters to their constituents on a topic by looking up whoever is "interested" in a topic, print a bunch of letters, fake sign all the letters, and mail all for free. In the mean while, you think that they actually read your letter and responded, less sign it themselves.

There are a lot of good books on politics and economics for the regular person. "Money Makes the World Go Around" by Barbara Garson is a good book to read to understand how the banking system really works behind the scenes (she travels around the world chasing a deposit). It's fun too.

It's probably better than watching this too...

They charge interest... and that keeps people in debt.
