AZ is hell...why do you think I moved from it.  BTW (off subject), Im very happy moving to Colorado.

Texas? lol. ok.   It's almost like Arizona, but bigger and with a beach, right? :)

Loial.  the way I've heard 'Liner' referd to is like a sprayer.  One who sits in a spot spraying a popular entrance into one's fort.  I started hearing this months (a year??) ago first coined by the German players (which kinda explains the term).  Any time they would get killed by rushing into a fort and it was by some one that sprayed in one spot without moving, they would 'yell' out "LINER".  I asked and that was the definition that I recieved.

Im infavor of a stats page, btw.  Make the game something worth playing well.  give people a reason to want to play well, and they will.  Also, I think one main reason that people do not want to play with skill (read: stratagy) is because: why should they have a stratagy when they can just jump like hell and rush the other team in surprise??  Take that away, and they will be forced to play on even terms.
I my self am guilty of this.  I realize this and still do it cause it is available.
Wicked has not (and may never) perfect the speed jump and because of that fact, she plays with much more stratagy.  I end up with more kills, but she plays much better them me at times.  Often in a one-on-one, she will kick my arse.

While the speed jump continues to exsist, the faster players will always travel the fastest path on a map.  This will always make a multi pathed map into a single path map and then the bigger multi pathed maps are rarly desired(the logic goes...why should I jump all that way just to get killed in the first 10 - 20 seconds of the round?  give me a smaller map where all the people dies about the same time as me so I dont have to wait around for a minute before I can play for another 10 seconds!).  People will want to play the smaller, simpler maps so that the speed jump has less advantage against them.

The game has degraded from a skilled/stratigicly played map into 'who can kill the fastest and the most just to strut thier excrement'.  Im not sure how much of this is due to the old school (better??) players leaving, and due to the physics of the game being changed to advantage those who desire speed.

Hail your post.     Well put sir.

Loial asks that ever question Derrek asked *better than ever could have... to be sincerely anwsered in a timly fasion by Jits and him only.

In summation, Jitspoe in regards to our server please be more attentive I dont ask much. But logical fair play. In fact I have been accused of  being "to" fair and or logical.

With that being said I read your post you were Jitspoe was going to be gone.

My apology i will dupe this post on Loial's map requests..for its a worthy post. I wish more would speak up. For the sake of the game, instead of putting down others try explain your point of view, instead of being a bob in or out of game ;)

As a matter of fact Bob besides james are you smoke? sad?  bob? or to me ur princess BOB :)

Sumer says hello and stop picking on meh you should know better . She laughed at me for calling you and UNI exploiters. I should know better. I have lost sleep over this. But.......

She then reminded me of clan (NIN)  q2WOD and (NIN)Ruiner and other (NIN)CUM_poops. That would completely pj everyone via a proxy despite map/server or Mod. Thus my comments on oversizing packets.

Eh... I haven't changed the physics of the game.  The strafe jumping/bunny hopping/double jumping is there from quake2.  I'm afraid I'd by lynched if I took that out. :)

The NIN clan probably sent oversized packets directly to other clients.  This is difficult to do now as the client ports are randomized in order to prevent those types of attacks.

Jitspoe thanks I did not know this I assumed that is what was being done to me as been done in other q2mods. If what your saying is cant be done then I owe a few more apolgiies. No scrafe jump yes not double jumping up on something that normally require a rocket jump to do.

Randomized maybe but still seeable at console thus still possible.  I heard rumors about it happening in pball.  Gee it's fun to post on every thread... when I run out of comments I'll just type gibberish like that LGM guy :)

On multi-path maps eR33t uses a cover-all approach and hardly ever travels in packs through the faster or better path.  Putting all your players through the same path either leaves you wide open to the other team grabbing, your entire team falling victim to a significantly smaller group of defenders("campers") or both, resulting in a 3 point loss or even a bad grab-cap-grab-kill situation if the other team can sand-bag you long enough.  Covering all the paths lets you retreat in case one of the paths becomes wide open while not suffering major losses.
