{Pub} server PW help

ok I've done the reg thingie, logged in and I still cant play the game? whats up? Help please

Ya'll really need a General PW for the servers after a person registers, it would be faster and less stressful

Could you elaborate on "still can't play the game?"  Are you logging in before connecting to a server?  Are you using the name you've registered?

Yup using the same login name as I dont use tags or funnames, and I log in before trying to get on the pub servers and get kicked saying the wrong pw

That sounds like it's a private or match server.  The server password is different from your login password.  Try connecting to a different server.

Just tried to get on the GT Pub server again. I even reset my pw in my profile first.
I get this on the server:

Login failed for tonka
Either your password is incorrect or this name is registered to somebody else.

I even tried getting on the EV1-Alt - Pub 1 server I get the same message

Sounds like you're not logging in before connecting.  Are you using build 19 or higher?

The Digital Paint Global Login System is designed to allow players to protect their names and clan tags across all servers.  Once your name is registered in the system, you will be the only person able to use it.  Clan tags are automatically detected and players that are not registered members of a clan in the system will not be able to use the clan's tag.

The global login database has gone live.  If you have registered an account before 2007-06-27 8:00PM EST you will need to register a new account.

I registerd 2 days ago and updated build 19 to 20 today

I use All Seeing Eye and have my pw entered in the Server Properities PW

I still think that a generic password for everyone that registers would be best less hassel for sure

Login ingame, that seems to be your problem... logging into dplogin means nothing for when you start to play.

well I tried to get on GT Pub 1 played for a few minuted then when it switched maps it said this again.

Logging into the website does not log you into the game.  Start the game (not from ASE) then set up your account if you haven't already.  Set it to auto-login then you'll be able to use whatever server browser you wish.

I'm not sure what you mean by a "generic password."
