Bug - gamex86.dll v1.81 flagcapendsround - Multiple flag maps
« on: September 05, 2005, 09:27:07 PM »
There's an issue I've noticed while playing a multiple flag map(such as castle1) on a Win32 v1.81 Build 132 server.  When you cap to end the round and your team has another flag in possession, you're only awarded points for the flag capture, and not holding the other flags at the end of the round.  I don't know if it matters but the option for flags being at "home" was enabled as well.

That does sound like a bug, but it may also not be.

^ Didn't make sense. The question is, did jits mean it to be this way?

I expect it to be a bug because the additional 2 points for a flag at the end of a round is pretty consistant through the entire game when playing the ctf modes.  I can also see how easy it would have been to overlook when adding this option since there is only a limited number of multi-flag maps.

Well, that's just the way I implemented it.  You think it would be better for flag-holding players to get points instead of having to pass the flags to a single capper?  I guess it would be a little more consistent...
