I would love it so much if bot AI could be made scriptable, but thats probably not the most necesary thing in DP right now.

I'd like to see you add your bots, and bot scripts to the servers you play on.

Could this include a way for players to write the scripts instead of Jitspoe wasting the time to right the scripts or would that be a different feature request?

I do hope the bot's AI code would magically put in the open source portion of the game, so that those interested could tinker and improve it.

True that.  Is this grounds for a feature request?  A new open source bot scripting language

The way Eiii put it, it would not be a scripting language. It would just be C.

Oh okay, it would be cool to have a bot scripting language that is kinda like the menu scripting language or the scripts that are release in the general development board.  It would be a lot of work though to make a language just for bot scripting so I will hold off on even suggesting it as a request.  I hope the AI code is released though in the next build release.

I already suggested that, I dont believe anyone has made the vote though.
The vote is spliting up the game dll so parts could be made open source.

I'm not going to mess with making a scripting language for the bots.  I think that's already been covered in another thread.

I think a better AI would be great! :) I don't want to play Urban Night and have bots staying in the bases becaus they don't know how to jump & crouch throught windows. :(

I think the bots should have a chat bot in them too. So players can talk to them, kind of like Cleverbot

I thought someone mentioned that they should make it so the bots learn how to play better by learning from other players. This could make the bot know how to trick jump.
