trigger_hurt

I am trying to make a map where it team has to race through the levels of the map to find a secret button. when the button is pushed it will kill the other team. Is this possible???

No I don't think it is. However there is a way to put is so when you push a button paint will rise out of the floor and kill everyone.

Only if you know that the each team will be in a specific separate area. That sounds like a terrible idea for a map, though- it'd only be fun once or twice, given that after that many plays people would know exactly how to get to this button.

There are many jump maps with this feature, it doesn't really fit well into any other game type.

My suggestion would be to have the rising death (as me and Dag have affectionately nicknamed it) on a KOTH map. Have a room where your KOTH flag is and a button some distance away which fills said room up with paint. Set the wait time on the button to a couple of minutes so it could only be done 4-5 times per play. It would certainly be interesting, and a tactical decision as to when you push the button to gain maximum advantage over the other team.
