Hi.

I have posted this in an other thread however my comments were possibly lost in the thread.

0.21 build crashes at start - Received signal 11, exiting...

Have tried coping patch over existing paintball install and from a fresh install.

This is happening on :-

opensuse64bit
ubuntu 32bit
gentoo 64 bit.

morgan@ubuntu32:~/games/paintball2$ ./paintball2

However http://dplogin.com/files/clients/linux/paintball2_build021_linux_full_pretest1.tar.gz

(from - http://dplogin.com/forums/index.php?topic=12080.20)

Works absolutely fine in the 3 systems mentioned above

One thing I notice is that in the 0.21 update (that doesn't work) I see (this is from a fresh paintball install..)

Quote
------- Loading ref_pbgl.so -------
LoadLibrary("./ref_pbgl.so")
ref_gl version: PB2GL 0.18

But on the paintball2_build021_linux_full_pretest1 version I see this :-

Quote
------- Loading ref_pbgl.so -------
LoadLibrary("./ref_pbgl.so")
ref_gl version: PB2GL 0.21

I think you've posted this in 3 different places. :P

The full version is required for the client.  The update is just for the servers.
