computer problem?

jits, my problem is when i start up the game sometimes it just freezes with the into sound repeating over and over. i have to emergency shut down the computer, because nothing else works. is it just that my crappy vid card has problems with certain textures?

it doesnt happen on any of the other games i play so i just dont know whats wrong!

JItspoet this is exactly......exactly what happens to me. Hope this helps.

But it does happen to aao as well but worse check this out ...it wont even load the intial interface....it keeps clicking back and forth from desktop to aao init. gui. untill I hard reboot.

as if I dont have enough  memory. hmmmm

But if I uninstall aao....  all works fine. Real well.

64meg nvidia 8x apg
256 ram

Just meets min requirments for AAO.

Again dp crashes like discribed in first post, only after serveral uses of dp or one us of AAO.

CainAssassin: Which OS and vid card do you have?  Sounds like some kind of driver hardlock -- could be either your video card or sound card.  Try updating the drivers for both.
