Downloadable Quake 2

Hello,

A couple of you might remember me, but probably not. I used to play as BloodLust way way way back in the day in Quake 1 Paintball.

I was wondering if there is anywhere I can download Quake 2 so I can play DP2?  Can I just use the demo?

I bought the game years ago, but I can't find my copy.

Any help would be appreciated.

DP is stand-alone now. You don't need Q2 to play it.. nor can you even use it if you want to. (even though its way better )
But you can download the alpha in the files section.

but pub servers usually have some people.

and no one plays q1pb anymore.

Sweet Deeg you can use Quake 2 or the Standalone version on all the GRaFFiTi "CLaSSiC" servers, Standalone Build 10 or above on Pub 1 and Match 1, and Standalone Build 14 or above on Pub 2 and Match 2

i do depends on how bud its sucking for me to see the ballflight.

lol I NEVER switch versions because the difference between 14 and 15 is too big...and id rather use fourteen and anything below it

The only difference between 14 and 15 is the model and the reflective water. And, you can play pong.

Well if you start using it now, it might mean that once B16 and that model is enforced, you'll be more used to it than everyone else?
I don't see what the big deal is, it just means you no longer have to shoot through people's foreheads since the crouching stance is more accurately reflected to that of its hitbox.
3/4 of eR33t seems to be using the B15 with little or no complaints, I'm sure everyone else can too.
