Global login accounts on passworded servers
« on: March 22, 2008, 03:51:15 AM »
okay, so I reserved a graffitti server with a password, go on pball2, successfully log in to my global login account, get on the server using the earier agreed password, and immediately get kicked for not having a global login account. So i changed my name to my global login account's name and the same happens. What's up with that?

Are you sure you logged in?  If you play on another server and type "players", does it show your login ID?

Hmm.... No.
Why the hell doesn't it?
I did go on a match server today (and got pummelled) and there was no problem there.... strange.
Unless that server doesn't require a GLA

What name are you using in-game, and what name do you have registered?

iamapirate and iamapirate

By login ID, you don't just mean:

iamapirate      0
playername    1
playername2  2

cos thats all that comes up

Could be a server running an old version or with the login system disabled.

yeah, I'll try a few other servers and see what comes up.

Could it be anything to do with it both saving my password and automatically loggin in?
