Looking for some actual paintball maps
« on: April 11, 2008, 07:23:19 PM »
You know, like the one's that you could go play at if you we're to actually go out and play paintball.

I've seen a couple before, and really liked them, but I lost all of my maps recently, and would like to play some on my server.

Can someone give me a link, or just name some to me please? Thanks.

Some maps I know of that look somewhat real are Xball and Yardspeed.

ftp://www.otb-server.de/pub/Maps/xball.bsp

and

ftp://www.otb-server.de/pub/Maps/yardspeed.bsp

Edit: here is the site where u can find all kinds of maps. but i must warn you that some are not fit to be seen by human eyes

ftp://www.otb-server.de/pub/Maps

Here is one that I worked on a while back. I was planning on adding some things but if you want it here it is.

Hmm. Some stuff on that xball map sure does look familiar...

And it tries to load eiii/comptex.jpg? I think someone decompiled one of my crappy maps!

PS: Does anyone have the version of that map I actually made? I wanna see it again.
EDIT: The only version I can find is the one that crashes pball. Anyone have it? It's called compfield.bsp.

 :) ;)
That is the version that freezes stuff. :<

And yours, Rick. The ANTIX version (decompiled! D:) is the exact same as the xball map above.

Mine is called compfield, yes. It didn't spread around much, because it sucked. A lot. But I want to see it again! And yes, I confirmed it's called compfield.bsp.

I love XBall. I completely forgot about it until yesterday.

And I'm just about to try out yardspeed. Thanks for the help, guys.

http://dplogin.com/files/maps/beta/supspyder_b1.bsp - a to-scale model of a real tournament field (beta map).
http://dplogin.com/files/maps/beta/wdp_xball.bsp - another beta map.  Don't know what happened to the author.
http://dplogin.com/files/maps/supair.bsp
http://dplogin.com/files/maps/arenaball.bsp - You probably already have this one.
