Nokia 6300
« on: April 13, 2008, 05:09:53 AM »
Birthday Present :)

Problem as usual and I particulary hate this.  When i'm transferring files bigger than 5MBish using Bluetooth it doesn't display the actual % of the file/s being transferred.  It goes to about 16% sometimes and then its finished.  Quite annoying when its Nokia to something else and you can't see how far its gone.  I've searched and searched, is there a way to fix this?  Cos i'm completely pissed at it.

why not just use a usb data cable?
there is known issues that if you got the phone from the provider... they blocked some features on bluetooth. i've tried transfering files via bluetooth to another phone. It was just a simple picture... it wouldn't let me do it.

BTW, it's a good phone. Really good camera.

Is it series 60 symbian? You could try using that symbian filemanager's send thing.

because i'm transferring it to friends.

Also its not locked out or anything because i'm able to send it.  I think its just a problem with the phone software and i'm hoping there is some way of fixing it.
