Hey Guys/Gals,
Digital Paintball got me through University while Counterstrike servers were not being played; this was 7 years ago when the Crates map was popular! lol. I recently was going through some cd's and I noticed I had a huge directory of old DP maps. So I got on the site, and couldn't believe the game was still ongoing. I read the forum posts and noticed that Jitspoe was discontinuing the mod? What is the deal with that these days?

I have re-installed the game but I am finding the player demographics have completely changed. I am actually 27 and being called a 'noob' and camper is just repetitive when its from 11-15 year olds.

Are there any older players out there besides me and Crazylady?

ah.. the community does seem to be much larger.. really surprising actually. I thought the mod would have died in the 5 years I stopped playing.

unfortunatey, yes. I say that there should be a server just for really old maps.

Do you recognise any of the maps that are being played on servers atm?

31 here. Knack is like 50 something. There are a few older than Knack but they aren't worth playing because their reflexes are slowing down so much they can't react.

I recognize the Shazam maps, midnight.. Archaic Fields.. thats about it. Whatever happened to the um... crates map or the ice or winter map.. I can't remember the name of it.

I'm 27 btw. I'd be nice if the mod migrated to a better platform for the graphics.. but ah well. thats all you can do.

Whatsup I'm wax I've played back in before DP when QWPB was modded for Quake 1 and I also took the time release day of DP to dl it on my 56k and play it

back when KOTH was ba yeah like KnacK said the community is a bunch of whiners and smack talkers now don't mind them we are glad to have you back

Well unfortunately I think I will be leaving the community for a shorter time this time. I am in the final semester of my second degree and I will be pretty much swamped by the look of it. Hopefully when I return again the community will be just as vibrant as now, only with some more older players.

In case you're talking about the news page and not actual "forum posts" - you'd be referring to an april fool's joke.

btw, nice to meet you - i'm 20 and have been with DP for about 1 year and 4 months.
